Jefferson County R-VII School District Information Technology Infrastructure Standards As of September 2012 Purpose Standardization provides the Jefferson R-VII School District students, staff and faculty with a high level of productivity in a cost-effective manner as well as other benefits, including reduction of complexity, improved operational efficiency, robust communication, and/or assurance of continued availability of service and the provision of consistent technical support. Scope This policy applies to all District staff, faculty, administrators, patrons and students using Jefferson R-VII technology resources. Exceptions to Standards As with any standard applied in an organization, there will be exceptions to the standards. Written requests for exceptions, with justification, should be sent to the IT Director. These IT Department hardware specifications will be updated on an as needed basis due to the ever changing release of new computers and software releases.
