SAVE THE DATE Sunday, MARCH 3rd 8:00pm for women at Ohr HaTorah A lecture by Mrs. Weg “Between Man and His fellow: How to Become a Good Person.” Sponsored by Risa Solomon in Memory of her Mother Malka bas Moshe Henzel ob”m Mrs. Weg is a beloved teacher and mentor in Scranton, Pennsylvania’s Bnos Yisroel Girls High School. Her husband, Rabbi Chaim Weg, is the Rosh Kollel of Scranton and a noted Halachic authority and adult educator. Mrs. Weg is the youngest daughter of the late Rabbi Simcha Weissman ZT”L, a well known Torah Pioneer in the New York area, who had a profound impact on her. She is a sister to the renowned Rabbi Moshe Weissman, author of The Midrash Says series, and a sister-in-law to the noted speaker and author, Rabbi Zelig Pliskin. The Wegs lived in Eretz Yisroel for the first four years of their marriage, where Rabbi Weg studied in Yeshivas Brisk. They then moved to Lakewood New Jersey where Rabbi Weg continued his studies in Beth Medrash Govoha. Thirteen years ago they relocated to Scranton, Pennsylvania where they live today so that Rabbi Weg could head the brand-new Scranton Community Kollel. The Kollel serves as an important part of the Scranton community and is constantly inspiring the town of Scranton to move to greater heights in their Torah learning and relationship with Hashem. Mrs. Weg opens her home to host annual community functions such as parties for Purim and other Jewish holidays. These functions are enjoyed by all those who attend and bring spirit and life to the Scranton community. The students that Mrs. Weg teaches in the high school and the Scranton Kollel wives are all attracted to her Simchas HaChaim, gentle demeanor, and sweet personality. They take advantage of her life experience and insight into human nature by seeking her advice as they start families of their own. SUNDAY FUNDAY Cute crafts with buttons, yarn and more !
