ELEKTROBUDOWA SA from Poland, established in 1953, is a joint stock
company present at Warsaw Stock Exchange since 1995. Being one of the leaders
of Central European electrical contracting business ELEKTROBUDOWA is also one
of the largest manufacturers of medium voltage switchgear in the European Union.

APPLICATIONS
PRODUCT ADVANTAGES
D-12-2S, D-17-2S, metal-clad, air-insulated, arc proof
double busbar system switchgear is intended for electrical
power distribution in AC networks of 50 or 60 Hz frequency
and rated voltage up to 17.5 kV. Its major areas of
applications are distribution systems of power utility
companies and heavy industry. Use of double busbar system
switchgear is strongly recommended everywhere high level
or reliability of electricity supply is required.

Following features of D-12-2S, D-17-2S switchgear decide
about its superiority above other solutions avaliable on
the market:
exceptionally reduced overall dimensions comparing to
other designs of double busbar system switchgear for
rated voltages up to 17.5 kV;
increased safety of operation due to system of internal
decompression (available with minimum 2 cubicles
configuration);
availability to execute switching operations with closed
door with keeping of IP4X requirements;

proper order sequence of switching operations due to
application of comprehensive interlocking system;
safety of personnel present nearby switchgear in case
of internal arc apperance;

signaling of cubicle energizing in every cubicle;

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
D-12-2S, D-17-2S switchgear have indoor, free-standing
design. It is composed of cubicles connected to double
busbar system. The switchgear is equipped with several
interlocking systems providing fully safe operation and can
be additionally fitted with system for early detection and
switching-off of internal arc short circuit.
Switchgear is available in versions:
standard version with manual operating mechanism,
remotely controlled, intended for operation in
unmanned power substations, equipped with motor
operating mechanisms (for opening / closing of
disconnectors and earthing switches and moving of
withdrawable part between test and operating
positions). It can co-operate with any electronic system
of remote control and supervision.
mixed (electric motor operating mechanisms of
disconnectors, remaining operating mechanisms manual type).
CONFORMITY TO STANDARDS
The switchgear is designed, manufactured and tested
according to international standards: IEC 62271-200:2003
and IEC 62271-1: 2007.

assurance system according to ISO 9001 standard,

according to ISO 14001 standard and complies with the
criteria of
