Invest Northern Ireland’s US team also play a crucial role in advancing the export potential of local companies in North and South America. We are seeking two enthusiastic research driven junior business development managers to join our team. While desirable, corporate / sales experience is not essential as full training will be provided. The role: To find companies who have the potential to become investors in Northern Ireland by monitoring news media, networking and conducting proactive research. Target companies via highly tailored email message and phone conversations to arrange meetings for the Business Development Director team of Invest Northern Ireland. Prepare sales focused material to share with potential clients in support of our wider sales efforts. Maintain accurate records of all interactions within Invest Northern Ireland’s customer relationship management tool. Interfacing with all U.S. offices and Belfast HQ. Attending trade shows, conferences and networking events. Essential Criteria: 1. A degree or equivalent qualification 2. Significant recent collegiate or professional experience of undertaking research and subsequent analysis to inform decision making / make recommendations. 3. A recent strong track record of persistence and motivation. 4. Strong written and verbal communication skills 5. Strong IT skills While not essential, the following skills / experience would be advantageous: Previous International experience Working as part of a team Knowledge of Northern Ireland economy Knowledge of the US market Please note: Recent is defined as being in the last eight years.
