Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) is one of
the original pioneers of SCR systems and catalyst
technology with our original R&D work being carried
out in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. All of our
products and services are proven from commercial
operation with more than 180 in the US and over 1,000
systems globally. MHPS provides advanced
technologies that exceed the expectations of our
clients and meet demands of society. Extensive R&D
ensures our products can meet future requirements
with reliability.
We are no stranger to the application of SCR systems to simple cycle or high temperature applications
with the earliest commercial installations dating from the early 1990’s. MHPS has successfully
demonstrated the ability to apply SCR technology to simple cycle high temperature large frame gas
turbines in North America and Japan.
Additionally, we continue to develop and market advanced “state-of-the-art” catalyst technologies and
systems including; High Mercury Oxidation and Removal, HCL Injection System for Coal and Zero Slip
NH3 SCR for Gas or Oil.
Total System Design, Component Supply and Installation in the US:
To meet the needs and growing demand of the US market, MHPS established an experienced SCR team
in Basking Ridge, NJ to provide domestic support for the design and service of SCR systems in the
Americas. The Basking Ridge office is devoted to fulfill our North America based clients’ SCR system
needs. Feasibility studies, conceptual design, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, project
execution & management, and aftermarket service & support are all managed by the staff in our US office.
To service clients with multi-national operations, the American based operations can call upon the strength
and global capabilities of our parent company, Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Ltd. in Japan.
