VERTICAL SLANT PANEL POCKETS
STANDARD GENERAL USE VERTICAL SLANT PANEL POCKETS feature an open access design to make installing connector
panels easy. They are load tested to withstand commercial point loads while preventing connector damage. Hard finished with
electrostatic powder coat in two neutral colors, as well as designer finishes for a clean appearance. Installed as part of the
ACE Pocket System, these pockets can be used in all floor types and can accommodate up to 24 connections. See pages
19-21 for panel and connector details.

SUPER CAPACITY HORIZONTAL PANEL POCKETS have
increased, super capacity, of up to 50 connections using
horizontally mounted panel brackets in the back-box pocket body.
They offer the same rugged construction, finishes, and weight
load verification with twice the connectivity as our vertical panel
pockets. This two-piece pocket consists of a separate back
box-pocket body and lid/bezel. *Note: Connector capacity

Designed as part of the ACE Pocket System, these panels are flat
and strong. They mate perfectly with ACE Pockets and utilize our
CONNECTRIX cutout detail to combine custom connector options and
immediate delivery.
WALL & RACK PANELS come in standard sizes, but can also be made
to your custom needs. Rack panels are immediately available in semi
gloss black and wall panels come in semi gloss black or white. Featuring
our CONNECTRIX cutout detail, ACE Wall and Rack Panels maximize
the number of connectors on each panel. Custom connector engraving
and company logo engraving adds a professional flair.

BACK BOXES are designed exclusively for use with ACE vertical panel pockets and are finished in electro deposited zinc for corrosion resistance.
Available in many depths, allowing clearance for feed through or distribution junction, using combination knock-outs. Welded steel construction includes
a disposable protective cover and accepts accessory brackets for isolation of high and low voltage. See pages 16-17 for back box details.

BACK ACCESS COVERS
BACK ACCESS COVERS are used to close
the back access opening in ACE vertical panel
pockets after wires have been terminated. Use
a BAC in a raised floor installation, and add an
isolation bracket when separation of high and
low voltage is necessary. See page 16 for back
access cover details.

DESCRIPTION
The Full Stage Pocket by ACE Backstage Co., Inc. is made from
heavy gauge, die-cut steel. This professional box provides a rugged,
flush mounted space to conceal and protect stage connections.
The vertical slant panel design provides an open access to the conduit,
allowing connector panels to be terminated before or after pocket
installation. This feature brings flexibility to the installation process,
allowing rough-in or completion-stage connector termination.
CONNECTRIX SYSTEM READY
All ACE Stage Pockets are compatible with
interchangeable CONNECTRIX System Panels
and isolated connector configurations. Designed
to maximize space and allow adequate receptacle
clearance, CONNECTRIX Panels house a larger
number of connections than a standard ganged plate

The size of this Double Wide Pocket allows for a large connector
capacity in a flush mounted, vertical slant panel pocket. Built
from cold roll steel, die pressed and expertly welded, forming a
consistently square, dimensionally stabile enclosure to conceal
connectivity and prevent connector damage. Use the interchangeable CONNECTRIX Panel System when designing your
connector configuration to include audio, video, electric AC power,
data, control, and switches.

DESCRIPTION
Introducing ACE’s large-capacity, horizontal panel mount pocket. It has
the same above floor footprint as the standard Full Pocket (10.5” x 10.5”)
with almost three times the connectivity. Built from die-cut heavy gauge
welded steel, the ACE Super Pocket resists bending even under the
most severe stage loads.
The Super Pocket system incorporates three sub-assemblies, allowing
“just in time” delivery for each phase of construction.
Phase #1 – The pocket body incorporates horizontal panel brackets with
an isolated AC raceway enclosure, mounted inside a full sized ACE steel
back box. Generous combination knockouts provide in, out, and thru ways
for cabling. If ordered separately: BRK102BBX.
Phase #2 – Pre-loaded connectors can be easily terminated during this
phase before the stage floor is finished, enabling the installer to solder
without worry of disturbing the finished floor. CONNECTRIX Panels arrive
loaded with CONNECTRIX Connectors and can be custom engraved per
your specifications.
*Replace the back box cover to protect the pockets internal assembly until phase 3.
Phase #3 – The unique lid and bezel assembly mounts directly to the
installed pocket body, allowing concealed connectivity to be accessed
through the blind-hinged lid. If ordered separately: BZ132XXYY

DESCRIPTION
ACE Backstage Co., Inc’s Super Double Wide Pocket is designed
for high capacity connectivity in a horizontal panel mount configuration.
ACEÕ s unique pocket design uses a reinforced hinge-tube, heavy duty lid
stops, and a wide mounting bezel to distribute weight loads.
The Super Double Wide Pocket system incorporates three subassemblies, allowing “just in time” delivery of each part for each phase
of construction.
Phase #1 – The pocket body incorporates horizontal panel brackets,
mounted inside a double wide sized ACE steel back box. Generous
combination knockouts provide in, out, and thru ways for cabling. If
ordered separately: BRK104BBX.
Phase #2 – Pre-loaded connectors can be easily terminated during this
phase before the stage floor is finished, enabling the installer to solder
without worry of disturbing the finished floor. CONNECTRIX Panels arrive
loaded with CONNECTRIX Connectors and can be custom engraved per
your specifications.
*Replace the back box cover to protect the pockets internal assembly until phase 3.
Phase #3 – The unique lid and bezel assembly mounts directly to the
installed pocket body, allowing concealed connectivity to be accessed
through the blind-hinged lid. If ordered separately: BZ134XXYY
CONNECTRIX SYSTEM READY
All ACE Stage Pockets are compatible with
interchangeable CONNECTRIX System Panels
and isolated connector configurations. Designed
to maximize space and allow adequate receptacle
clearance, CONNECTRIX Panels house a larger
number of connections than a standard ganged plate
and allow for a customized configuration.

The Mini Stage Pocket is a rugged, high-density box with a
compact footprint. Designed to conceal up to (4) CONNECTRIX
connectors, the two panel positions in the pocket body utilize
staggered MP series CONNECTRIX panels. Conceal AC power,
audio, switches, etc under the floor surface with the flush mounted
bezel and lid that are easily installed into raised floors with or
without a back box.

DESCRIPTION
ACE Back Access Covers are a simple, cost effective option in the sequence of
installation in raised floor applications. During the rough-in stage, the BAC may be
connected to the conduit through combination knock-outs and left temporarily tacked
to the floor joist where the pocket will be installed. All wire can be pulled, and low
voltage terminations to connectors/panels can be completed before the finish stage
of construction. Accepts accessory brackets for isolation of high and low voltage.

discarded when the pocket is fully installed. Clear zinc coated, they
mate using a pre-drilled mounting flange and have multiple combination
knock-outs. Model #103BBX is UL Compliance Listed.
This three gang welded steel box mates perfectly with the ACE Mini
Pocket and can be used to isolate AC power and Audio connectivity
when ordered as the #025BBX/AC. Model #025BBX is UL Compliance
Listed.

DESCRIPTION
Finished in clear zinc for corrosion resistance, these welded steel back boxes mate with standard ACE Stage Pockets using a pre-drilled mounting
flange. Available in four different depths, ACE Back Boxes provide 1.5”, 3.5”, 4.5” and 7.5” work clearance underneath the installed stage pocket. Multiple
combination knock-outs make these boxes ideal for feed thru or distribution junctions. Models #102BBX and #104BBX are UL Compliance Listed.
Polyurethane Encapsulated Back Boxes provide a 1/16” watertight jacket to seal seams, holes, and knock-outs - effectively forming a airtight shield.
These boxes provide protection against incursion of moisture, abrasion, chemicals, impact and harsh climates.
Back boxes with isolation brackets (ISOXXXBBX) provide galvaneal steel separation between high and low voltage in ACE Stage Pockets.

ACE Back Boxes ship with a removable lid (1) to provide protection for
the inside of the back box during installation. Once installation of floor
is complete, the lid is removed and discarded (2), leaving the inside
free of any dirt or concrete and allowing an easy install of the stage

Used with CONNECTRIX Connectors, these high strength aluminum panels are designed to allow perfect connector clearance and the maximum
number of connections in every panel. Because they are machined aluminum alloy (6061-T6) and not punched, they stay flat and undistorted, and are
stronger than mild steel panels. The CONNECTRIX style cutout makes it possible to mount any combination of jacks (RJ45, RJ11, multipins, BNC’s,

Rotary engraving on stock CONNECTRIX Panels or CUSTOM
Fabricated Panels is fast and easily accomplished on a separate
dedicated CNC routing machine. The finished panels show bright
aluminum in the engraved characters and do not need to be back filled.
Computer Assisted Drafting (CAD) systems feed data to our precision
CNC rotary cutting machines to define your panels accurately. Panels
are cut and powder-coated, then return to the table for engraving. The
finished panels show bright aluminum in the engraved characters and
do not need to be back filled.
CONNECTRIX Panels are always in stock, can be engraved with
company logo information, and ship quickly. Many times ACE ships
engraved panels in less than 5 days.
Custom Fabricated Panels can be created in sizes as large as 48”
x 36” in 1/8” and 1/16” thickness. Each panel is computer drawn
and approved by you before being cut, coated, and engraved. Then
the coated panel is sent to the assembly bench and populated with
specified connectors, switches, nutserts, etc. Once completed the
panel is inspected and checked twice before packaging for shipment.

The ACE Microphone Hanger Slug allows you to hang
almost any microphone from a cable end and point it in
any direction. The Microphone Hanger Slug permits a
standard microphone stand mount clip to be attached
near the end of a hanging cable and the microphone to
be clipped in place. The cable is clamped to the slug
with a cable tie allowing the cable above to come to
a normal relaxed position. This permits the adjustment
of the microphone side-to-side movements (yaw) by
turning the microphone clip on the slug without twisting
the cable above the slug... the microphone will stay
exactly where it is pointed.
1. Screw the Slug into the mic clip.
2. #43 Slug threads are pliable, allowing
the slug to grip and lock into the clip.
3. Secure the mic cable to slug with the
provided cable tie

to a set position
