Kichler® Sheds Light on Showroom and Wholesale Partners’ Needs with
new Advanced Product Solutions Team
- Assistance is only an email or call away to help take the guesswork out of any lighting need INDEPENDENCE, OHIO (May 17, 2016) – Assisting showroom and wholesale partners has always been a
priority at Kichler®, a leader in innovative lighting. But, what if customers need to know what under cabinet
light to use in a kitchen? Or, what if a partner wants to understand how a Kichler product will operate in a
unique location, or where to place landscape lights for maximum effect? The new Advanced Product
Solutions and Layout Team is the answer, offering free services and quick turnaround designed to take the
guesswork out of any lighting need.
“With years of combined technical and design training, our team is here to support our partners with layout
design services for interior, exterior, commercial or residential spaces,” said Mike Allen, Department
Manager, Advanced Product Solutions, Kichler. “We even provide technical guidance on our entire product
line. Kichler is delighted to offer these free services as we believe it will provide the tools to help create
product solutions and increase customer confidence.”
Layout Design Services
From choosing landscape lighting or fans, maximizing a kitchen’s functionality, outfitting a restaurant with
lighting, to coordinating lighting throughout a home – these are a few of the jobs the Kichler Layout Design
Service Team can help with. The process is easy! Simply email a completed design request form (available
at Kichler.com/Aps) to layouts@kichler.com. The team will create a bill of materials that same day (for all
requests received by 3 p.m. EST). Next, confirm the bill of materials and pricing and the team creates and
delivers a layout design within 48 hours or less.

Advanced Product Support
Do you have installation or building code questions? The Advanced Product Support Team welcomes any
challenging inquiry regarding interior, exterior, fans, landscape and lighting systems, and is here to help
with any project. To take advantage of this free service, customers can call the support line at

Kichler’s Continuing Education and Employee Certifications
The Kichler Layout Design Service and Advance Product Support Team prides themselves in receiving
additional classroom and in-field training on an ongoing basis to better assist customers, and help to
answer all questions in a timely manner. Recently, Kichler employees Mike Allen and Mark Angersola both
received the Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals (AOLP) Low Voltage Lighting Technician
Certifications (CLVLT). The standardized test consists of a written exam and labs, measuring the
knowledge and capabilities of 12-volt systems.
