All rights reserved worldwide. 8 Communicator – CAS Messaging Basics • CAS: Client Access Service • Since ShoreTel 13, the CAS protocol is used for all communication with the ShoreTel Servers • CAS operates from the client by sending JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) requests to the managing server © 2014 ShoreTel, Inc.
