One person at a time 7. Indent where hole is to be drilled 8. Always clamp work securely 9. Hold work on left side of body 10. Only Drill materials issued to you Disc/Belt/Spindle Sander 1. Ask Permission to use 2. No Loose clothes, hair, or jewelry 3. Wear safety glasses 4. No adjusting the machine setup 5. Turn on the dust collector located under table while using. 6. Sand on down-side of disc 7. Front first, and then last on belt sander 8. Nothing smaller then 4’’ on disc 9. Nothing smaller than 5’’ on belt 10. One person on a sander at a time Band saw 1. Ask Permission 2. No Loose clothing, hair, or jewelry 3. Wear Safety Glasses 4. Do NOT adjust machine setup 5. “Roller Support Bar” 1/8 inch above work. 6. Do not back up material 7. Hands 2’’ away from work 8. Cut nothing smaller than 4’’ 9. One person at a time 10. Use Vacuum to collect dust. Scroll Saw 1. Ask Permission 2. No Loose clothing, hair, or jewelry 3. Wear safety glasses 4. No adjusting machine setup 5. Collar must be worn on work 6. Do Not Back up material 7. Keep Hands 2’’ away 8. Cut nothing smaller than 3’’ Compund Miter Saw 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Ask Permission No Loose clothing, hair, or jewelry Wear safety glasses No adjusting machine setup Use clamps to support workpiece whenever possible. If supporting the workpiece by hand, you must always keep hand outside of “No Hand” area 6. Do not reach in back of the saw blade behind the fence with either hand to hold down or support the workpiece, or remove wood scraps 7. Never cross your hand over intended line of cutting. Supporting the workpiece “cross-handed” i.e. holding the left side of the workpiece with your right hand 8. Always make certain that there is no gap between the workpiece, fence and table along the line of cut 9. Do not feed workpiece into the blade or cut “freehand” in any way Workpiece must be stationary and clamped or braced by your hand, and DO NOT cut “round” materials, they can roll during cutting 10. After finishing the cut, release the switch, Hold the saw arm down and wait for blade to stop before removing work or cutoff piece. If blade does not stop within five (5) seconds, unplug the saw. REACHING WITH YOUR HAND UNDER A COASTING BLADE IS DANGEROUS!
