Applications
•
Pro-Line Type T90 Nylon or TWN75 conductors are primarily used in conduit and
cable trays for services, feeders, and branch circuits in commercial or industrial
applications as specified in the Canadian Electrical Code.

When used as Type T90 Nylon, conductor is suitable for use in dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90°C. Conductor is suitable for use at 60°C when exposed
to oil or coolant
•
When used as Type TWN75, conductor is suitable for use in wet locations at temperatures not to exceed 75°C .
Standards and References
Pro-Line Type T90 Nylon and TWN75 meet or exceed the requirements of all applicable
ASTM specifications, CSA C22.2 No. 75, LL90458 (Thermoplastic Insulated Wire and Cables), and the Canadian Electrical Code.

Construction

Pro-Line Type T90 Nylon or TWN75 copper conductors are annealed (soft) copper,
insulated with a tough heat and moisture resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC), over
which a nylon (polyamide) jacket is applied.
•
Available in black, white, red, blue, green, yellow, brown, orange, and gray; some
colors standard, some subject to economic order quantity.
Specifications
T90 Nylon or TWN75
Conductors shall be Type T90 Nylon or TWN75, gasoline and oil resistant II, suitable for operations at 600 volts
as specified in the Canadian Electrical Code. All sizes shall meet CSA FT-1. All sizes shall be dual rated for TWN75.
Conductors shall be annealed copper, insulated with high-heat and moisture resistant PVC, jacketed with abrasion,
moisture, gasoline, and oil resistant nylon or listed equivalent. T90 Nylon or TWN75 shall be PRO-LINE WIRE & CABLE
or approved equal.
