The METRIS gas meter is designed to offer
modular flexibility and measurement accuracy
for residential to light commercial applications.
Description
The METRIS meter is uniquely constructed to give
utilities the edge they need in an increasingly complex and
competitive marketplace. The METRIS offers three versions
that provide greater flexibility for your metering needs.
The unique modular design of the METRIS offers the
advantage of complete customization to fit individual
installation needs. In addition, due to inventory and
manufacturing enhancements provided by modularity, this
invaluable flexibility can also be delivered with
unparalleled speed and scheduling dependability.
Lifetime Case Warranty
The die cast aluminum case of the METRIS meter will be
free from manufacturing defects for the life of the meter.
In addition, the cast iron manifold and aluminum diaphragm
case of the regulator on the METRIS RM meter will also
be free from manufacturing defects for the life of
the meter/regulator combination.

AMR Compatibility
The Itron METRIS meter is designed to be
compatible with all meter reading systems
that use a reading initiator that mounts
between the index and the meter.

20 Year Accuracy Assurance
Itron guarantees that each shipment of
METRIS meters will be adjustable to within
± 1% accuracy for a period of 20 years from the
date of purchase. If more than 10% of the
meters are not adjustable to ± 1%, Itron will
repair or replace those meters that cannot
be made to conform to the ± 1% standard.

Description
Itron “A” Series commercial diaphragm meters
comprise a range of positive displacement gas
measurement devices with capacities of
400 to 1000 ft3/hr (11m3/hr to 28m3/hr).
These meters use proven diaphragm meter technology
in a 3- chambered design to provide accurate
measurement across their respective flow ranges.
Long-life and low maintenance are assured by the
combination of a self-lapping orbital valve, a one-piece
seamless diaphragm, and few moving parts.
Careful attention to design makes them compact and
lightweight for their capacity ratings.
AMR Compatibility
The Itron “A” Series meters are designed to be compatible
with all meter reading systems that use a reading initiator.
