Thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time June 28, 2015 Because of sin, sickness and death have entered the world, but are overcome through the resurrection of Jesus. He hears the cry of those in need, healing the sick and raising the dead to life. He made himself poor that we might become rich. Parents, let’s set a good example of selfrespect for our youth by dressing appropriately and asking them to do so as well. Dressing for Mass is simply a matter of showing proper respect, not only for God, but for others around you. One should always wear clothes that are modest. Lord, I pray that I never take my freedom for granted. May I always remember that my freedom was purchased at a very high price. My freedom cost others their very lives. Lord, bless those who have served and continue to give their lives for our freedom. Meet their needs and watch over their families. Amen.
