Beam-clamp Speaker
• Includes 8" dual cone driver,
transformer, grille and backbox
This ready-to-install speaker features clamps for fast,
efficient mounting to beams or girders in open ceiling
environments. The 8" speaker provides clear, reliable
performance for paging or background music.
Features
• 8” 15W dual cone driver (No. 810) with power rating
of 15 watts RMS and 10 oz. ceramic magnet. Cone is
molded of a high fiber content material to provide
smooth extended frequency response and a clean
natural sound.
• Wired dual voltage 25/70V transformer (No. TLM572) has taps at .25, .5, 1, 2 and 5W.
Front view
• Round screw-mount steel grille (No. WB-8) has a
12.875" diameter. White powder epoxy finish. White
screws.
• Steel backbox (No. 8XD4) 8XD4 features two beam
clamps mounted on top. White powder epoxy finish.
• Externally accessible speaker leads exit backbox
through a metal strain-relief clamp for fast installation.
Simply splice connecting wires, push completely inside backbox, and tighten clamp.

A&E Specifications
The speaker shall be Lowell Model No. BC-810-72,
which shall include an 8" 15W dual cone driver, dual
voltage transformer, and steel screw-mount grille
mounted to a conically shaped backbox with externally accessible, strain-relieved leads and topmounted beam clamps. The driver shall have a
frequency response of 54Hz-11.6kHz (+6dB), 50Hz20kHz (+6.6dB) and sensitivity of 97.9dB. The fac-
tory wired transformer shall be dual voltage 70/25V
with power taps at .25, .5, 1, 2, and 5 watts. The
speaker assembly shall be finished in white powder
epoxy.
