Your Next Move
Step 1.
If you’d like to know more, please call to
organize a meet and greet where we can
answer any questions that you might have. You
will need to sign a confidentiality agreement
before we start the meeting. This form allows us
to provide you with confidential information
and protects the Cleanworks Franchising System
and the investment made by other Franchise
owners.
If you are interested in going further with the
Franchise opportunity, you will receive an
application form to assess your suitability to
become a Franchisee. It not commit you to
buying a Cleanworks Franchise or to any other
financial commitment.
Your personal details are protected in
accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.
Step 2.
You can fill in the form while you are in the
office during your meet and greet or you can
return the completed forms to Cleanworks via
post of email:

We will then assess your application and decide
whether you are the type of person we would
like to work with.
Step 3.
From there, we will arrange another
meeting where we will provide you with
delivery of the Franchise Agreement and a
Disclosure Document that contains details
of the offer, the company and its current
financial position, in exchange for a 50%
deposit (refundable in line with the
Franchise Code of Conduct)
Step 4.
We recommend that you have your
solicitor and accountant look over the
relevant documents so that all questions
are answered and the potential for
misunderstandings is eliminated. We invite
your solicitor and accountant to contact us
directly regarding any queries.
Step 5.
Execute the Franchise Agreement, pay the
balance of the Franchise fee and arrange
initial training. This process can take an
estimate of 14 – 30 days to complete,
however it all depends on timeframes from
each party.

shorter timeframe.

Included in your initial business investment are all the tools and equipment required for
standard cleaning. Maintaining your equipment and replacing cleaning chemicals are your
responsibility.

franchisees are operating their first accounts within 30 days of investing.

Vehicle – All associated costs involved with running a reliable vehicle is needed to travel to
and from cleaning contracts
Insurances – Depending on your requirements, insurances can range from $40 - $100 per

Chemicals and Equipment – Depending on client portfolio costs can range from $40 - $100
per month as required.
Q. What is my typical Hourly Rate?
Depending on the investment and client base, Franchisees receive anywhere from $22 to $25
per hour.
Q. How large will my initial client portfolio be?
The average client portfolio is from 2-10 clients, however this will depend on your initial
investment.
Q. Do I need prior experience in the commercial cleaning business?
No. Cleanworks will supply you with an extensive training program and expert support to
help you operate your business.
Q. How do I expand my client base?
Depending on your initial investment Cleanworks will do the work to obtain new clients for

Q. What is the length of my franchise agreement?
Depending on your investment franchise agreements can be anywhere from 1 year to 5
years.
Q. Will I be able to sell the business in the future?
Yes, if the Franchise is still within the term of the agreement. The approval of suitability of
the purchaser will be subject to the same requirements you were required to undergo when
purchasing your franchise.
Q. How will my finances be managed?
Cleanworks provides you with monthly reporting for your business income which you will
need to take to your accountant.
