Theoperatorshouldalwaysbeingoodphysicalandmentalhealth. Donotoperateanyequipmentormachinerywhenundertheinfluenceof alcohol,medicationoranysubstancesthatcanimpairvision,dexterity and/orjudgment. Alwaysreadthesafetyandoperator’smanualsbeforeoperatinganypieceof equipment. Alwaysshuttheengineoffwhendoneorwhenmovingfromoneareato another.Donotcarryarunningtrimmeroveranydistances.Thetrimmer shouldbeabletobestoppedimmediatelybyusingthestopswitch.Aunit withamalfunctioningstopswitchmustnotbeusedagainuntilitisrepaired. I.Personalprotection A.Clothesshouldbetrimfitting;donotwearlooseclothing. 1.Jacketsshouldbezippedorsnapped 2.Shirtsshouldbetuckedintopants. 3.Longpants B.Sturdyshoeswithnon‐skidsoles C.Sturdyworkgloveswillnotprovidecutthroughprotectionfrommoving bladesbutwillhelptoimprovegrip,reducestressfromvibration, andprovideprotectionfromcutsandscratches.
