Extraordinary Features at a Low Price
The Flite Electronics DSO-2902, DSO-2904 and DSO-25216 integrate two (or four) 250
million sample per second single-shot digitisers with a 250MHz eight- (or sixteen-) channel
logic analyser and FFT spectrum analyser in a single low-cost PC-based instrument. The
DSO-28264 also allows users to combine the two digitisers to form a single channel
200Msa/s oscilloscope. The DSO-2902, DSO-2904 and DSO-25216 dramatically reduce the
costs involved in analysing signals on logic devices, analogue circuits and microprocessorbased systems.
Cross Triggering for Mixed Signal Analysis
The DSO-2902, DSO-2904 and DSO-25216 provide fully synchronised cross triggering. This
allows analogue events that affect your digital circuits to be captured and displayed, and vice
versa, allowing the two to be correlated and cause and effect relationships identified. The
logic analyser can act as an eight- (or sixteen-) channel pattern trigger input for the DSO, or
the oscilloscope can trigger the logic analyser when a particular analogue signal crosses a
threshold. The display screen shows the full 128k/256k sample deep buffers for both the
analogue waveforms and the digital data patterns. All-channel zoom expansion and cursors
identify synchronous events on different channels.
Portability
The DSO-2902, DSO-2904 and DSO-25216 connect via the parallel port allowing operation
from most desktop and laptop PCs. An optional USB 2.0 interface module is also available.
The ultra-compact size of the instruments allows them to be taken with you wherever you go.
The PC Advantage
Use of your PC for processing, display and data storage saves you time and money.
Measurements can be made in your first half-hour of operation thanks to the DSO-2902,
DSO-2904 and DSO-25216’s straightforward installation and easy-to-use “front panel”
software. The instrument responds instantly to changes of settings, just like a stand-alone
oscilloscope. Since the instrument is effectively part of your PC so is the data, avoiding the
need to carry out complicated data transfers. You can store an unlimited number of
waveforms and timing patterns to disk for later recall. Named set-up panels can also be
saved for later use.
The PC’s monitor offers far greater display capabilities than the small display of most standalone instruments. The user can choose both the channel display order and the colour for
each channel. A user-definable channel label can also be set to describe each channel to aid
data interpretation.
Powerful Windows-Based Software
Two (four for DSO-2904) analogue inputs and up to eight (sixteen for DSO-25216) logic
inputs are displayed simultaneously. The user can choose the channel display order and the
colour for each channel. A user-definable channel label describes each channel to aid data
interpretation. The horizontal scale can be zoom expanded from 1/64X to 64X. The current

position of the zoom relative to the entire waveform memory is also shown. All channels
zoom and scroll synchronously. Powerful cursors simultaneously give the absolute and
difference voltages and times at the cursor location for each analogue waveform. They also
display the times between the cursors and trigger.
