Please join the fun, either as a sponsor, vendor, racer, donor, volunteer, or spectator. Thank you for your participation! Munch was tethered in his back yard until a few weeks ago and loves his new life off the chain. He loves to play and go to the dog park with his foster mom. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. And he has the cutest ears! Wesley, 5 month old neutered Pit mix, estimated adult size 45-50 pounds. Wesley is a very sweet pup who loves kids. And he looks so stylish as he dashes through the snow in his warm blue coat. Dylan, 3 year old Lhaso mix. Housebroken, crate trained, and UTD on vaccinations. Dylan is good with people and other dogs, but doesn’t like cats. He is showing some food aggression and will need a family that can provide consistent training. He must go to a home with no children under the age of 12. Liam, 3 year old neutered Wire Haired Dachshund. Liam has undergone surgery and rehab for Intervertebral Disc Disease ( IVDD) and has made remarkable progress. He is now being treated for heartworm disease. This fussy little boy with an attitude is ready to choose his new home, but NO small children, please. Prissy, 2 year old female tortoise shell. She was abandoned by her former owner, but still loves people. She loves to play and be petted. She needs to be on special urinary tract food. 2 Note: Bailey was one of our “Happily Ever After” adoption stories. We don’t know a thing about her previous life, but on a cold January night in 2013, she was found wandering in Carrollton and taken in by one of our members. A senior girl, blind and deaf, with medical issues, she was adopted by the Williams family and given a loving home where she received vet care and even eye surgery that restored some vision. She was pampered with toys, treats, and jeep rides for her remaining two years of life. The Williams would like to encourage others to adopt seniors and special needs animals. Doing so really makes a difference in the quality of life for that animal and comes with its own set of rewards. Pets for Adoption Puppies!! 9-10 weeks old Mother was a chow/husky mix. Father?? 3 Teaching a child kindness towards animals builds character and will help the child to grow into a more humane and responsible adult. Teaching kindness to animals instills empathy, which in turn translates into compassion for the greater world. Kids are never too young to learn compassion and respect for animals. 1 Court House Drive, Newport News NoMoreChasinTails@gmail.com 757-255-8804 A new low-cost spay and neuter clinic in the Denbigh area of Newport News opened in February 2015.
