gears, which were developed by Turkish engineers and are marketed in the domestic and foreign
markets, contribute significantly to the Turkey’s economy. A large proportion of the generation
capacity, which was obtained through superior Turkish engineering, is exported under the title “World
Supplier” to over 80 countries on all 5 continents from America to Europe, Africa to Asia and Australia.

Siemens AG accomplished the turnkey construction as the consortium leader of the 1,210 MW
İskenderun Sugözü Power Plant project, Turkey’s first export coal power station built under the
Build-Operate (BO) model. In this project, Siemens Turkey Energy Sector completed the engineering
and delivery of medium voltage switchgear systems, lighting, grounding and communication systems.
Siemens also participated in the engineering and installation of measurement and instrumentation
control systems.
Siemens, which follows an integrated approach in the energy sector, provides consulting, engineering,
turnkey solutions and after-sales services for all voltage levels ranging from 0.4 kV to 400 kV with its
high technology products and experienced staff. The High Voltage division, which continues to evolve,
has successfully implemented its projects “Across Borders with Firm Steps”, accomplishing substantial
