ADVANCED MODELLING OF ELECTRO MOTOR LOADS Egya Ennor Kabenla Enyimah Armah Background Expected Result Many power electronic applications require complex, critical, costly, and time consuming compatibility, verification between power converters and a large number of alternative motor types, sizes, and load situations. As such a motor emulator is an alternative to having a larger variety of motor types. This project would therefore cover the various electro motor modelling and load situations The objective of this project is to explore and demonstrate the possibilities of developing an advanced electronic motor load capable of emulating an arbitrary electro motor and its load condition. Model and simulate selected motor types and their loading characteric behaviour Literature review of electro motor and modelling techniques •Models of selected motor types and loading characteristics •Verification and demonstration of models •Demonstration of achievable system performance •Participation in conferences and written journal papers Fig1.
