Pino Di Ioia, MBA
CEO
As a student, Pino Di Ioia first worked at BeaverTails in the summer of 1988. Later, he became a franchisee, then master
franchisee – co-owning and operating numerous BeaverTails locations in the Montreal area. Leveraging his unique
first-hand knowledge and experience, Pino developed the management and training processes for a team of more than
300 employees. He possesses a passion that has driven the growth of the BeaverTails brand. Today, Pino Di Ioia directs
the company’s management team and leads business development initiatives.
Anthony Di Ioia, MBA
CFO
Formerly co-owner and operator of Montreal area BeaverTails franchises, Anthony Di Ioia has been instrumental in
driving the company’s growth and success by creating a culture of rigorous financial controls. Anthony has also developed an expertise in network administration and has implemented automated accounting and inventory management
systems. He leads the company’s finance and administration teams.
Tina Serrao, BFA
Creative Director
Tina Serrao joined the BeaverTails team in 1997. Tina directs all company branding and design initiatives. She has driven
the development of the moozoo® product line of smoothies, frozen yogurts and gelatos. Tina Serrao leads strategic and
creative branding, store design, product development and marketing-communications.

BeaverTails®, the world-famous purveyor of Canada’s favorite pastry, has
frequently been included in top 10 lists ranging from National Geographic
to Buzzfeed to USA Today , and was also included in Lonely Planet’s ’s
Top 100 Street Foods guide. Since their appearance in Ottawa in 1978,
our pastries, whose name is a nod to our friendly national symbol, have
become a true Canadian icon. Our stores are now found from
coast-to-coast in North America’s favorite leisure, amusement and
festival environments. International fans can also find us at one of our
locations in Korea, Japan, or the UAE. Our world-famous snacks
have been providing delicious memories to fans since 1978 with a
diverse menu that now includes our signature pastries, poutine,
beverages and frozen treats.
SIGNATURE PASTRIES
BeaverTails® pastries are made with whole wheat
and hand-stretched just for you, then cooked fresh
and served piping hot with the decadent toppings of
your choice!
With toppings ranging from the Classic Cinnamon
& Sugar to the Triple Trip, which includes chocolate
hazelnut spread topped with Reese’s® Pieces and
peanut butter, there’s something for all levels of
indulgence!
Our Beaver Bites are the best of both worlds hot morsels of BeaverTails® pastry served with your
choice of gelato or frozen yogurt and a variety of
delicious toppings!
POUTINE
This classic Canadian snack starts with a base of fries,
topped with authentic Quebec cheese curds and
a decadent gravy.
Additional snacking options are found in our
BeaverDog – an all-beef Nathan’s® hot dog wrapped
in our signature pastry.
SIGNATURE BEVERAGES
Moozoo® smoothies have an organic orange or
natural lemonade base to which we add 1/2 lb of fruit.
Moozoo® Frapp-eh! is a ready-to-use orange vanilla
smoothie made with our signature frozen yogurt.
For colder days, our rich and creamy BeaverTails®
signature hot chocolate is 100% delicious!
FROZEN TREATS
Our homemade 100% naturally delicious moozoo®
gelato is made with only half the fat of traditional
ice cream, so don’t hold back! Our frozen yogurt

Franchise Expo, New York City, June 16-18
BeaverTails USA Inc. is offering an incentive to new US franchisees – a $99,000 USD limited-time special package
Montreal, June 3, 2016 – BeaverTails, makers of unique and delicious BeaverTails® pastries, today announced that it
will introduce a new franchise concept at the upcoming International Franchise Expo (IFE), to be held at New York
City’s Javitz Center, June 16 – 18. BeaverTails will be in booth # 933.

topped with numerous choices, including cinnamon & sugar, chocolate hazelnut spread, Reese’s® Pieces and peanut
butter, BeaverTails pastries satisfy indulgences of all tastes. BeaverTails also offers a menu of favorite snack foods,
including BeaverBites, BeaverDogs, poutines, and moozoo® smoothies, frozen yogurts and gelatos.
For the first time ever, BeaverTails is offering an exceptional incentive to new US franchisees – a $99,000 USD special
package. This offer includes:
• A fully self-contained 16-foot BeaverTails trailer – a very efficient space that houses all food preparation and storage
(additional off-site storage may be required depending on the volume/length of event) and may be staffed by one to
six people. Option to purchase generator if required at additional cost.
• The initial franchise fee, valued at $30,000 USD.
• All required equipment and small wares (other than the point-of-sale equipment).
• Franchise rights for a total of 20 years (subject to renewal conditions every five years).
• A territory with a minimum population of 300,000 people and the opportunity to serve all temporary fairs and events
within the territory.
• No separate royalty or advertising fees. All royalty and advertising fees are conveniently built into the cost of
purchasing proprietary BeaverTails ingredients.
• 38 years of experience in the industry, a complete training program, ongoing support and assistance from our corporate office, required software systems, and advertising and marketing support.
• This offer is valid for all U.S. franchise agreements signed on or before September 1, 2016.
