DESCRIPTION:
The converters can be used with all kinds of low voltage sensors
10 - 30 V DC to convert a NPN to PNP or PNP to NPN output.
NPN to PNP has a yellow LED for active output and PNP to NPN a
green LED.
The functional schematic is shown below. An active input creates
an active output. The output is short circuit protected, and the
device is protected against reversed polarity and output transients.
The NPN to PNP converter can be used as a PNP NO to PNP NC
converter. This is achieved by connecting a 10KOhm resistor from
input to ground (-). Similar a PNP to NPN converter can be used as a
NPN NO to NPN NC converter by connecting the resistor from input to
+ Supply.
It can be mounted by using double sided sticky tape or the two Ø
3.2 mm mounting holes.
