Black Scale is Foot Pounds and Red Scale is Newton Meters. Example: 74 Foot Pounds 2. Turn Adjustment Knob clockwise until the desired major torque value on the Major Torque Indicator Scale. Black Scale is Foot Pounds and Red Scale is Newton Meters. Always set desired torque by approaching the target from a lower value. 4. Push in the Torque Adjustment Knob to lock the desired torque value. Major Scale Black to 70 Turn Micrometer Black to 4 for 74 Foot Pounds For Newton Meter settings use Red Major and Micrometer Scales TM Operating Torque Wrench The MountzPro True Dual Scale Torque Wrench is capable of both right and left hand tightening. The tightening direction is determined and set by turning the push button socket release to the desired tightening direction. After the desired torque is set and wrench in placed on work piece, apply force on the handle of the torque wrench until hearing and feeling a “click.” • To avoid damage to the work piece, do not apply force after the preset torque is achieved. • Before use, confirm that the torque adjustment knob is in the locked position. • After use, lower torque setting to the minimum value for storage. The MountzPro True Dual Scale Torque Wrench has been calibrated and tested in providing accuracy of +/- 4% with a maximum cycles of 5000 per calibration. It is recommended that the torque wrench should be verified to be within specifications and if re-calibration is needed the wrench should be serviced and calibrated by either authorized personnel, accredited calibration labs or by Mountz, Inc.
