High-heat conductivity provides thermal uniformity over the
entire heating surface
Hot plates feature a sturdy stainless steel case that resists spills and corrosion
and supports heavy loads. The 61⁄4" x 61⁄4" (15.9 x 15.9 cm) hot plates have a 20 lb
maximum load capacity; all other models have a 40 lb maximum load capacity.
What’s included: models 03400-00 through 03452-00 are supplied with a
6-ft (1.8-cm), three-wire cord with U.S. ­standard plug. Cord and plug are not
included with h
­ igh-wattage models 03460-00 and 03462-00; they must be
connected through a conduit system.
Many of these hot plates are
UL-listed and CSA-certified.

Explosion-Proof Hot Plate
UL-listed for Class 1, Group C and D hazardous locations
Safely use this explosion-proof hot plate where flammable gases or vapors can ­produce
explosive or ignitable mixtures–ideal for evaporating volatile organic ­solvents and heating
lacquers. Added safety thermostat prevents temperatures from exceeding 243°C. Hot plate
features a durable, corrosion-resistant steel case; cast-aluminum top plate ­accommodates
metal vessels.
What’s included: a 1⁄2" conduit attachment and an 18" (45.7 cm) lead wire for UL-required
hookup (no plug). Optional dial thermometer fits directly into top plate to monitor top plate
temperature—order separately below table.

These laboratory scissor jacks provide stable, height-adjustable support for hot plates
and many other items. Constructed of rugged, chemical-resistant anodized aluminum
with stainless steel operating screw. Top-plate skid pad prevents slipping.
Easily set the exact height needed with The turn of a knob. All models (except 08057-10)
have a 10-mm tapped hole in the right rear corner to accommodate a frame rod (not
included) for mounting ring stands and other lab apparatus.
