Strong quality: Steel up-and-over garage doors
Anything that is outside in all winds and weathers and has to work perfectly day after day needs an especially robust design. Novoferm upand-over garage doors provide surface protection simply through their
processing quality: All garage door leaves are made of hot galvanized thin
sheet and are protected from corrosion with a base coat of electrostatic
powdercoating based on polyester. The door leaf frame, block door frame,
guide rails, lever arms and all further components are also hot galvanised. Furthermore, distortionresistant continuously welded frame edges

Smooth running
Although made of steel, Novoferm up-and-over garage doors are absolutely quiet when in operation. Smooth operating plastic track rollers and plastic abrasive strips in the stable block door frame guarantee smooth running and
almost silent opening and closing of the doors.

Exemplary burglar resistance
Novoferm K up-and-over garage doors are well protected from people gaining unauthorised access: due to their
floor-independent – that means not sensitive to dust and corrosion – locking device with solid bolts, which simply
cannot be reached from the outside.

Operator with automatic cut-out system
The VivoPort® garage door system comes with an automatic maintenance-free shutdown device. That means you
don’t have to set or check the running direction at all. As soon as the door comes up against an obstacle when opening or closing - no matter whether it‘s a person or not - it stops immediately at the slightest resistance.

Maximum operational reliability
All Novoferm K up-and-over garage doors come with stable multiple spring assemblies. They thus allow you to either
manually move your garage door with only a minimum amount of effort or to simply open by the touch of a button.
And no spring can slide of either. If a spring should actually break, the remaining springs will definitely secure the
garage door and prevent it from falling.
