Located at 99 Marine Parade, Redcliffe, just 5 minutes’ walk from the Esplanade precinct of Redcliffe and 25 minutes

Complimentary parking facilities are available in the basement level of the Hotel with lifts directly accessing both

would be $150. Your ceremony stylist can setup all of the decorations organised for the ceremony at our venue.

Due to additional labour costs required for cash bar service, this option incurs a $250 service fee per event. Bar

The Destination

BOOKING & PAYMENT
Tentative bookings awaiting deposit will be held for a maximum of 7 days after booking forms have been received. Following this, the room hold
will be released and no booking will be held with Mon Komo Hotel.
Confirmation of your function or event must be in writing via the Mon Komo Booking Forms, signed and accompanied by an initial deposit
payment of $1000.00, within one week of Events Team receiving confirmation documents. Mon Komo Hotel will forward a receipt to confirm that
your booking form and deposit have been received. By signing the booking forms, you agree to all the Terms & Conditions in this document.
Three (3) months prior to your function or event, a 50% deposit of your estimated total is payable; this may be paid across two separate payments
if required and must be confirmed in writing. Your confirmed numbers are the minimum numbers you will be charged for. Final payment, along
with final numbers, is due fourteen days out from your wedding reception date, or final numbers to be provided 14 days prior to your wedding.
Absolute final numbers, should they increase, must be provided three working days prior to your function or event and additional payment is due at
this time. All prices quoted are inclusive of GST and subject to change. Full payment must be received prior to the beginning of your event or it may
be cancelled by Mon Komo Hotel. Any additional costs incurred during the event must be finalised by the conclusion of said event. This includes
any charges not in writing or not previously authorised in the original agreement. Should there be an outstanding amount at the conclusion of the
function or event that has not be paid for, your credit card will be charged.
The Mon Komo Hotel reserves the right to allocate the most suitable function room for your function or event, relevant to your confirmed numbers,
including in the instance of inclement weather. In the event a room change is required, we retain the right to re-allocate appropriately and attempt
to discuss any changes will you prior to finalisation. Should final numbers increase or decrease significantly from your original confirmed numbers,
the Hotel may substitute a more appropriate function room choice. By default, weddings of 40 guests or less will be allocated to one room,
weddings of 41 to 85 guests will be allocated to two rooms, and weddings of 86 guests or more will be allocated to three rooms. Rooms not
allocated to your event may be used by other event bookings. Please note that our pre-functions foyer is a shared space; in the event of multiple
event room bookings, clients are allocated pre-function foyer space directly outside their event room.
Subject to amendments specified in the subsequent Banquet Event Order(s), Banquet Event Order (BEO) and these Terms & Conditions will
constitute the entire agreement of both parties and supersede all prior discussions, negotiations and agreements in relations to the event.
DETAILS
Details including menu and beverage selection, table plans, audio visual requirements, supplier contacts and information, running list of
formalities and breaks, etc, must be provided to Mon Komo Hotel in writing at least four weeks prior to your event. All food and beverage menus
are subject to change and this may be without or at late notice, however Management will attempt to provide notice as soon as possible. All
beverage packages must accompany a food package.
No food and beverage of any kind may be brought into the Mon Komo Hotel for consumption during the function or event without permission
from the Hotel. All applications must be made in writing at least four weeks prior to the function or event. Please address all applications to the
Functions & Events Manager. Please note that cakeage or corkage charges per person may apply at the discretion of the Hotel.
Room hire is included in our Wedding Packages for five hours as detailed on our booking forms. Should the function or event extend past this
time, additional penalties will be incurred. The room hire allows you early access to the function room prior to your function or event, pending
other functions booked. It is your responsibility as the client to advise the Mon Komo Hotel Function & Events Manager of any additional access
requirements (including any suppliers you have engaged) in writing prior to the function or event.
All entertainment requested is at the cost of the client. No smoke machines etc are permitted to be used in the function rooms. It is the
responsibility of you, as the client, to pay for any smoke alarms set off by the entertainer or guests. Decorations supplied must be pre-approved by
the Functions & Events Manager and should any damage caused by these decorations will be at the liability of yourself as the client. Confetti, live
flames and table scatters are not permitted in the Hotel including functions rooms and the functions foyer at any time. Should these products or
any items with a similar outcome be used or should the event room not be left in a reasonable state of cleanliness after the event, cleaning costs will
be at the expense of the client. In the event that hotel fire alarms are activated as a result of you as the client or your guest’s actions, resultant
emergency service charges will be charged to your event account.
Should the behaviour of your guests result in Mon Komo Hotel needing to obtain assistance from security, the charges will be added to your event
account.

PARKING
Complimentary parking is available to Mon Komo Hotel guests via the Sutton Street entrance; subject to availability. The Hotel shall not accept
responsibility and shall not be liable, notwithstanding any negligence on its part, for the loss of and/or damage to any vehicle (including
accessories, contents of goods, or articles left inside the vehicle) while it is in or parked on the premises.
DAMAGES OR LOSS
Mon Komo Hotel shall not accept responsibility and shall not be liable, notwithstanding any negligence on its part, for the loss of and/or damage to
any personal or private property including equipment, materials, decorations and displays left at the Hotel throughout the duration of the event or
function, including its storage both prior and post event/function. The Hotel, and any staff employed by the Hotel, shall not be liable for any injury
incurred by the client or their guests in the use, transport or storage of any property, including equipment, materials, decorations and displays,
whilst it is on the premises of the Hotel. Any damage caused to the Hotel property, including equipment or fittings, during the event or function is
the financial responsibility of the client.
Whilst cleaners are employed by the Hotel for general and normal cleaning standards, a cleaning surcharge of $150 per hour will be required should
an event or function create excess cleaning requirements. Please note that the use of glitter, confetti, table jewels, or rice within the Hotel is
prohibited.
CANCELLATION
In the event that you need to cancel the function or event outside of the confirmed date for said event, the following penalties will occur:
If the booking is cancelled three months or more prior to function or event, your deposit will be forfeited andcharged as a cancellation fee.
If the booking is cancelled between two weeks to three months prior to your function or event, all monies paid (or 75% of the anticipated
total event expenditure if further payment is due) will be forfeited and charged as a cancellation fee.
If the booking is cancelled within two weeks of the function or event, all monies paid (or 100% of the anticipated total event expenditure if
further payment is due) will be forfeited and charged as a cancellation fee.
Any cancellation notice must be addressed to the Functions & Events Manager in writing via email.
CHANGES IN NUMBERS
In the event that you need to reduce numbers below the confirmed numbers on your booking form this must be addressed to the Functions &
Events Manager in writing via email. Guest numbers may reduce by 10% below confirmed numbers up to 14 days prior to your event. Any
subsequent or further reductions in numbers will be charged at the full package price.
Performance of this agreement is contingent upon the ability of the Hotel to complete the same, and is subject to labour troubles, disputes,
strikes, or picketing, accidents, government (federal or state) requisitions, restrictions upon travel, transportation, food & beverages, or supplies,
equipment and power failure, force majeure,and other causes which are beyond the control of Hotel. Regarding no function or event shall the
Hotel be liable for the loss of profit or consequential damages, whether based on breach of contract, warranty or otherwise. In no function or event
shall the Hotel's liability be in excess of the total amount of food and beverage contracted hereto.
OTHER INFORMATION
Accommodation
Oaks Mon Komo is managed by The Oaks Group and operates independently from Mon Komo Hotel. When booking a function or event with the
Hotel, you may also require accommodation. The Hotel's Functions & Events Manager may note your required check-in/out dates and forward this
information on to The Oaks Group so that they can proceed with quoting on your accommodation. Mon Komo Hotel will not book any
accommodation or be held responsible for the cancellation of or no-shows for any accommodation.
Signage & Storage
You, as the client, are responsible for your group's own transport, freight and arrangements and costs. You are responsible for the setup and
dismantle of your own equipment and displays. Equipment access and delivery through the hotel main foyer or loading dock is prohibited without
prior authorization from the Hotel Management. Deliveries must be clearly marked and should be made to the Mon Komo Hotel Loading Dock
located in the car park on Main Street, prior to 12pm Monday-Friday. Please advise the Functions & Events Manager in writing and at least seven
days prior of any goods that will be delivered to the Hotel.
We ask that you do not attach, pin, nail, screw, staple, glue or tac anything to the walls, doors or other surfaces of any area in the Mon Komo Hotel.
Signage is provided on your function room door. Any additional signage must be approved by the Hotel prior to your function or event.
Signage, banners, boxes and remaining items from your function or event must be taken upon finalisation of your function or event. Any
remaining items not previously collected at the conclusion of your function or event will be disposed of, if no prior arrangement is in place.
Recording & Broadcasting
Should you wish to make any recording and/or broadcast any part of the function or event, you must obtain prior written consent from
Mon Komo Hotel (which may be granted or withheld in Mon Komo Hotel's absolute discretion) and all necessary consents of licenses from any
third parties who have an interest in the recording or broadcasting. There are certain conditions as to the placement of equipment for recording or
broadcasting and you must ensure that you and your employees, agents and contractors, comply with those conditions. Broadcasting includes
radio and television and internet broadcast.
Regulatory & Legal
You must ensure that your own employees, agents, contractors or any persons attending your function or event do not commit any act that is in
breach of any statutes, by-laws, orders, regulations, or other provisions having the force of law (including but not limited to Mon Komo Hotel's
liquor license and any emergency & fire regulations). You must ensure that you and your employees, agents, contractors, guests or persons
attending your function or event follow the directions, procedures and security requirements as notified by Mon Komo Hotel from time to time.
You must agree to abide by any noise restrictions enforced by Mon Komo Hotel. As the client, you will be held responsible for any excess noise,
disturbing or disruptive activities made by your own employees, agents, contractors or any persons attending your function or event. Fines may be
incurred for any breach.

Insurance & Indemnity
As your function centre provider we take every possible care, however you indemnify Mon Komo Hotel, its related bodies corporate and their
directors, officers, employees, contractors and/or agents against:
(a) Loss or damage to the Mon Komo Hotel or any property at the function centre arising out of the use of the function room, conference facilities
and/or room accommodation by you or by your employees, agents, contractors, guests or persons attending the function or event;
(b) Claims by any person in respect of loss, injury or damage of any description arising out of the use of the Mon Komo Hotel Function Centre, or
Mon Komo Hotel in general, any property at the function centre, and/or Hotel facilities, by you, your employees, agents, contractors, guests or
person attending the function or event or the cancellation of part or all of the function, to the extent that such loss, damage, injury or death arises
from any act or omission by you or those persons; or
(c) Breach of this agreement by you.
Responsible Service of Alcohol
In accordance with the Queensland Liquor Act 1992, responsible service of alcohol will be practiced at the Mon Komo Hotel. This requirement will
be taken into consideration when determining client requests for beverages. Mon Komo Hotel is a licensed venue from 10am until midnight
Sunday to Tuesday and 10am until 3am Wednesday to Saturday. Mon Komo Hotel, staff and contractors abide by all relevant legislation relating to
the service and supply of liquor and this is reinforced and practiced in daily operations. Management and staff of the Hotel are trained in the
responsible service and supply of alcohol, and a register and copy of the Statement of Attainment for all staff are kept at the Hotel.
Functions will be finished by 12am every night, pending previously approved extensions, with guests invited to continue in the Cabana or Seabrae
bar should they wish.
Minors will not be permitted to enter premises unless exempt under the Liquor Act 1992. Additionally, minors will not be served alcohol. Service of
alcohol will be refused to any person who cannot produce appropriate evidence of age. Staff are trained in the acceptable evidence of age. Only
the following types of ID will be accepted where there is any doubt that a person is under 18:
A current driver's licence or learner's permit (valid with photo)
A current passport (from any country-valid with photo, written in English)
An Australian government-issued proof-of-age card (18+ card)
Foreign driver's licence with a photo and date of birth of licence holder. Where a foreign driver's licence is not written in English, an
international drivers permit issued in the foreign country of origin, including a photo of the licence holder and translation, must be
presented with the foreign driver's licence.
Anyone obtaining alcoholic beverages for consumption by minors will be removed from the premises. Management will support staff who practice
and enforce ID checking.
Licensing laws prohibit liquor supply to disorderly, unduly intoxicated and underage persons. Guests showing signs of undue intoxication or
disorderly behaviour will be refused service and will be asked to leave the premises immediately. Mon Komo Hotel will not tolerate any harassment
of guests or staff of any kind and offending guests will be asked to leave the premises. Management support staff refusing service for unduly
intoxicated patrons. Mon Komo Hotel reserves the right to cease service of alcohol or admission of entry to the function centre, or Hotel in general.
Smoking policy
Mon Komo Hotel is a smoke free hotel. Guests and visitors are required to adhere to the Queensland Government Tobacco Laws. Please note that
fines are applicable for persons in breach of these laws.
