November 2015 Monthly Activity Highlights The following items are a representative of notable activity occurring this month. 15-2175 – Traffic/OWI - W13000 blk. /Fond Du Lac Ave. 11/01: Traffic stop for speed violation; 56 y/o, m/w driver; odor of intoxicants detected; SFSTs conducted and signs of impairment observed; arrested for OWI-3rd transported to CMH for legal blood draw; transported to MFPD; booked, cited, posted bond and released to a responsible adult. 15-2177 – Counterfeit Currency - N95W17707 Shady Ln. – Target Department Store 11/01: M/b passed a counterfeit $100 bill; suspect received $10.50 worth of merchandise as well as the remaining balance of $89.50 in U.S. currency; the bill was photocopied and inventoried. 15-2178 – Reckless Use of a Weapon & Theft/gas drive-off - N87W17245 Main St. - Speedway 11/01: Gas theft witnessed by m/w 49 and his wife; suspect fled in a silver four door Ford Escort SE with the rear plate covered with cardboard an blue tape; witness followed the suspect vehicle; suspect stopped and pointed a handgun at the witnesses; suspect fled at a high rate of speed; MFPD intercepted suspect on Lilly Rd north of Fond du lac Ave. was almost struck; pursuit continued into Milwaukee on FDL Ave. north of Hampton Ave. where the pursuit was terminated. 15-2179 – Theft/from person - N95W17707 Shady Ln. – Target Dept. Store 11/01: F/w 31 had her wallet taken from a shopping cart; store video shows a m/b very light skinned, 2025 y/o, 5'4" to 5'5", 220-250, jeans and a blue jacket, black glasses, very short hair, removing the wallet when the victim was at the Starbuck's counter; a possible associate of suspect is a m/b, about 25 y/o, heavy set; suspect vehicle is a tan or gold Ford Windstar van. 15-2180 – Found Property/bicycle - Northfield Dr. /Appleton Ave. 11/01: R/P located a bicycle on a walking trail southwest of the North Hills Health Center on Northfield Drive; owner is unknown; placed on PI. 15-2181 – Dog Bite - N78W15300 blk. Haymeadow Rd. 11/01: M/w 35 reported that his nine y/o son was bitten on his right calf by a dog while trick-or-treating; the dog is a male black poodle mix; it had escaped out of the door of its owners residence; victim suffered superficial scratches only; no medical care was sought; the dog was current on rabies vaccine and licensed; there were no previous violations; dog’s owner was given information on quarantine period, issued a written warning and an animal bite report was forwarded to Waukesha County Division of Environmental Health. 15-2182 – Theft – W164N9283 Water Street – Alto Shaam Company 11/01: Unknown actor(s) removed a black bag that contained a gray laptop computer; R/P (f/w, 56) forgot the bag in the parking lot; it was later found in the parking lot of W164N9183 Water St. (Village Water Street Garage). 15-2186 – Stray Dog - W14600 blk. /Mill Rd 11/02: Light brown female Pitbull, approximately 1 ½ years old and about 35 pounds, was found running in traffic at Mill Road and Ash Drive; no collar or tags; TOT HAWS. 1|Page 15-2187 – Disorderly Conduct - N83W15515 Appleton Ave. – McDonald’s Restaurant 11/02: Physical altercation occurred between customers (husband, m/b, 41 & wife, f/w, 35) and an employee (f/w, 62); all were issued municipal citations. 15-2190 – Theft/from vehicle - N91W15700 Falls Pkwy. - Wisconsin Athletic Club 11/02: Unknown actor(s) smashed the right rear window to a white, 2013 Ford Escape and removed a rent check ($750.00). 15-2191 – Theft/from vehicle - N84W17501 Menomonee Ave. – YMCA 11/02: Unknown actor(s) smashed the rear driver’s side window to a black Acura SUV and removed a work/school bag and lunch bag. 15-2192 – Traffic/parking & Warrant Service - N77W14435 Appleton Ave. - Pick n Save Foods 11/02: MFPD was investigating a handicap parking violation when the 19 y/o, m/b operator of the vehicle was found to be wanted on a warrant by Glendale PD for contempt of court ($726.00/7 days); arrested, taken to MFPD where he posted 1/3 bond and signed a PR bond; he was issued parking citation for the handicap parking violation and released. 15-2197 – Obstructing & Warrant Service/WI DOC - Appleton Ave/Lilly Rd. 11/03: Vehicle stopped for a registration violation; m/b, 21 driver provided an alias in an attempt to avoid arrest on a DOC commitment; f/b, 21 passenger also intentionally misled officers by confirming that operator’s alias; both were arrested for obstruction and were transported to MFPD; passenger was issued a municipal citation and released; operator was TOT WKSO. 15-2200 – Theft - N76W14500 blk. Market Dr. 11/03: F/b 40 who resides in Texas, was visiting a m/b, 27 friend who removed her credit card, debit card, $50.00 cash from her purse and a Sony camera from her locked vehicle; The debit card and credit card were returned to her wallet after being used; he used her debit card to pay his cellular phone bill and the credit card to fill his car with gasoline. 15-2201 – Burglary/residence - N94W16000 blk. Cherokee Dr. 11/03: Unknown person(s) entered a single family residence by forcing open a rear door and removed a pillow case and four - five jars of US coin currency; Victim is living in an assisted living facility and her family is making arrangements to sell the home. 15-2206 – Warrant Service/U.S. Marshall - Main St/41 Hwy. 11/05: MFPD stopped to assist a disabled vehicle on I-41/Main St.; m/b, 43 operator was found to be wanted on a warrant through US Marshalls Office for Probation Violation, Body Only; arrested, booked and TOT WKSO Jail. 2|Page 15-2207 – Fraud - N56W18100 blk. Ann Ave. 11/05: F/w,48 reached over a fence and was bit on her left forearm just above her wrist by a black, Border Collie Whippet mix; medical treatment not required; The dog’s owner was contacted, advised and an animal quarantine form was completed; Dog bite report forward to Waukesha County Division of Environmental Health. 15-2211 – Found Property - W140N5300 blk. Saint Andrews Dr. 11/05: Remote controlled drone was found; Unable to locate owner; placed on PI. 15-2213 – Suspicious Circumstances - Lisbon Rd/Pilgrim Rd. 11/06: Out-of-state vehicle (Utah) was found parked along the road; damaged and disabled; vehicle towed; m/w 32 owner later contacted and advised where to pick-up his vehicle; There were no violations or enforcement action. 15-2215 – Abandoned vehicle - N96W18221 County Line Rd. – Tri City Bank 11/06: White four-door Ford Taurus was left over-night in the lot; m/b 27 owner contacted and removed the vehicle. 15-2218 – Counterfeit/currency - N95W18000 Appleton Ave. – Kohl’s Dept. Store 11/06: M/b passed a counterfeit $100.00 bill while attempting to make a purchase; bill was not accepted; suspect left the store without the bill; Suspect description: 20-25 year old M/B with a slim build, wearing a hat, black shirt and jeans (worn low); suspect vehicle: a black newer model (possibly a Chevy Malibu). 15-2220 – Theft/W180N8000 Town Hall Rd. – Froedert Health 11/06: F/w 36 reports that her 18 carat white gold Peter Lam ring ($3,000) ring was stolen from a bathroom: the ring had been pawned by a known subject; continuing investigation. 15-2223 – Theft - N88W15167 Main St. – Good to Go Mobil 11/06: Unknown actor(s) took a cell phone that was inadvertently left behind in the bathroom; the phone is a white iPhone 6 16 gig cell phone, which was in a white and brown case, having a blue edge band. 15-2224 – Theft/shoplifting - N95W18000 Appleton Ave. – Kohl’s Dept. Store 11/06: Four f/b suspects concealed $1800.00 worth of merchandise in mesh bags then left without paying; they fled in a white Dodge Dart with IL registration. 15-2227 – Theft/MV - W180N8500 blk. Town Hall Rd. 11/07: Black 2003 Chev Cavalier four-door was taken by unknown suspect(s) when it was parked and “running” outside the owner's residence; it was recovered in Milwaukee. 15-2228 – Fraud - N72W13500 blk. Menomonee Ave. 11/08: Two car PI crash result of a DV battery; m/b 35 intentionally drove his car into the f/b 33 victim's car got out of and began to hit the victim; Victim did not seek medical attention; suspect taken to CMH for injuries sustained in the car crash; medically cleared; arrested (Reckless endanger safety, Court Oder Violation); booked; signed DV paperwork 72 no contact order and TOT WKSO jail. 15-2238 – Warrant Service/MCSO - 145 Hwy/41 Hwy. 11/08: F/b 29 was stopped for suspended registration; she was wanted on a MCSO warrant (Paternity/ $300.00/genetic test to be conducted prior to release); arrested; booked; TOT WKSO Jail. 15-2240 – Protective Placement - W180N8085 Town Hall Rd. – CMH 4|Page 11/09: MFPD responds to CMH for report of suicidal subject in the E.R had been involved in and argument with her husband and had consumed alcohol and prescription medication in an attempt to harm herself; Waukesha County Mental Health approved an Emergency Detention; She was medically cleared at CMH; TOT Waukesha County Mental Health. 15-2243 – Assist Person/property disposal - MFPD 11/09: F/w 69 came to the PD to turn over a firearm and several air guns to be destroyed; they belonged to her late husband; placed on MFPD inventory; scheduled to be destroyed. 15-2244 – Fraud - W159N4900 blk. Graysland Dr. 11/09: M/w 46 indicated that an unknown suspect/s opened a Comcast Account in his name; a credit agency stated he owes $577.40; suspect/s used the R/P's social security number; investigation continues. 15-2246 – Traffic/IID violation & Warrant Service/Tosa PD- Main St/Fountain Blvd. 11/09: M/b 42 was stopped for a speeding/registration violation; Investigation revealed that the vehicle was not equipped with a court ordered IID and he was wanted on a warrant for Wauwatosa PD (Possession of THC/$439.00); arrested; booked, cited and released after signing a signature bond. 15-2249 – Death Investigation - N50W17600 blk. Greenview Ave. 11/09: M/w 94 was found deceased/lying in his bedroom by his daughter (RP); Confirmed by MFFD; MFPD found nothing suspicious; Waukesha County Medical Examiner's Office responded and he was released to the Harder Funeral Home in Brookfield. 15-2251 – Battery/DV - N82W13500 blk. Thornhill Dr. 11/11: Unknown actor(s) entered an unlocked garage and removed four credit cards from a purse within the victim’s unlocked black 2014 Volkswagen Touareg Sport Utility vehicle; Best Buy contacted MFPD after a suspect (M/W mid-30s, 5'10"-6'00", approximately 200lbs, clean-shaven with short brown hair, wearing a baseball hat pulled down over the front of his face) attempted to use the Victim’s credit card; The credit card was left behind by the suspect after the clerk asked for identification. 15-2266 – Theft/shoplifting - N88W15559 Main St. - Walmart Neighborhood Market 11/11: 31 bottles of liquor ($843.07) were stolen from by a group of three to four f/b suspects; Two of the suspects were identified (f/b 32) & (f/b 33); arrested when committing another theft; they removed the bottles from the store shelves and placed the items in large purses/bags; they arrived and left in a silver Chevrolet Impala four door; investigation continues. 6|Page 15-2268 – Theft/shoplifting - N88W15559 Main St. - Walmart Neighborhood Market 11/11: MFPD responds to investigate a possible theft in progress; Two subjects (f/b 32) and (f/b 33) were stopped by MFPD upon exiting the store; suspects found concealing three bottles of liquor in a purse; arrested; one suspect released with charges to be referred to the DA's office; the other TOT Waukesha County Jail on a Franklin warrant for Possession of THC. 15-2269 – Traffic/OWI - Stone Dr. /Lancaster Ave. 11/11: M/w 46 was involved in a minor PI crash (car vs. village owned post); Impairment detected; SFST's performed; Arrested for OWI 2nd; breath test result: .17; Booked; cited; TOT WKSO for bond and 12-hour hold. 15-2270 – Drug Law Violation - Silver Spring Dr. /Marcy Rd. 11/12: Traffic stop for registered owner showing suspended; m/b 31 had an odor of marijuana coming from his vehicle; PC search revealed a Blunt containing marijuana; arrested for POCS and obstructing; booked and released with charges of POCS and Obstructing referred to the Waukesha County DAs office. 15-2273 – Vandalism - N52W15300 blk. Damage to a rear passenger side tire to a 2002 Saturn station wagon. 4. Northpoint Dr. 11/12: Stray kitten (black and brown in color, yellow eyed; No tags or anything to identify a possible owner; TOT HAWS. 15-2276 – Warrant Service/WKSO - N87W17900 blk.
