Handle lock (variations of use) Figure A The operating handle can be padlocked in Vertical mounting the “ON” or “OFF” position. The (‘ON’ position up) operating mechanism mounted on the breaker can be padlocked (not supplied) in the “ON” or “OFF” position. The door defeat is accessed by drilling a 2.5 mm hole through the mechanism side to a depth of 5 mm - see locator hole. A small object can then be inserted to activate the door defeat. Double insulation Provides an even higher degree of safety; all controls are composed of insulation materials. Panel lock release When the release knob is turned anti-clockwise, the panel door can be opened irrespective of the handle being in the ‘On’, ‘Off’ or ‘Trip’ position. Reverse interlock The reverse interlock is designed to lock the breaker, to prevent it from being switched ‘On’ when the panel door is opened. The lock can be released by pushing the hook lever. Dust and water protected IP 55 is available as standard. Panel lock The external operating handle keeps the panel door locked when the handle is in the ‘On’ or ‘Off’ position. The panel door can be opened in ‘Reset’ position. Handle lock The operating handle can be padlocked in the ‘On’ or ‘Off’ position with up to 3 padlocks. (The padlock is not supplied.) Lock in off position only available as special execution refer NHP.
