DESCRIPTION - 6” IC housing for use with RL625 LED series Module LED trims. Designed for new construction installations and suitable for use in insulation covered or noninsulation covered ceilings. The LD26IC-AT-DIMTR housing is engineered with a unique ‘EZ-connect’ wiring system, that when used with the RL625 trim, with Energy Star and California
Title-24 (compliances pending). The unique EZ-connect system also meets other state and national regulatory mandates. Module LED connects effortlessly to housing, virtually
eliminating mis-wiring and potential shock hazards.
NOTE - Complete system includes LD 2 6IC-AT-DIMTR housing and Module LEDs RL6 25 trim. RL6 25 Module LED trim must be ordered separately.
SPECIFICATION
HOUSING - Die-formed aluminum and galvanized steel for maximum heat
dissipation and rust protection. Housing adjusts vertically in plaster frame to
accommodate 1/2“ to 1-3/8” thick ceiling. Housing is IC rated for direct contact
with insulation and can be used in IC and NON-IC applications. May be installed in
2” x 8” joist construction.
CONNECTION - Polarity-specific EZ-connect system engineered to match with Elite
Module LED trims. *Meets strict code requirements where Edison Base Sockets
have been banned.
BAR HANGERS - Preinstalled bar hangers allow housing to be positioned and
locked at any point within a 24” joist span. They can be positioned on either the
long or short axis of the housing and can be shortened for 12” joists. They contain
a double-headed real nail for secure attachment into the joist. Bar hanger nails are
installed on a 20º downward angle for better contact, and the 90º pivoting mounting
plate makes installation fast and accurate. Bar hangers can fit onto T-Bar spline
with additional slots and holes for special mounting methods if necessary.

JUNCTION BOX - UL Listed for through-branch circuit wiring, provided with four
½” knockouts, one ¾” knockout and four Romex knockouts with true pry-out slots
and strain clamps. Designed for straight through conduit runs.
THERMAL PROTECTION - Standard thermal protection device guards against
improper installation and misuse of insulation material.
ELITE MODULE LED SOLD SEPARATELY - LD26IC-AT-DIMTR unique ‘EZ-connect’
wiring system is Title 24-2008 compliant when used with the RL625 series module.
RL625 module IS rated to last up to 50,000hrs as tested in accordance
with LM-80 standards. Available lumen packages include up to 620 (14W)
delivered lumens. Driver and LED Engine are found on the module itself. The
Triac & Electronic Low Voltage dimming driver also available when ordered
with the following options (DIMTR-120). Consult Factory for details

The Elite iFit625 has been engineered for New Construction, Remodel and Retrofit applications for both 5 inch
and 6 inch downlights. Dedicated housings install the same way as our standard incandescent downlights and
include features such as adjustable, lockable and tilting bar hangers.
Over 620 usable lumens are directed from the luminaire to the work surface. Lighting is smooth and
comfortable, all while using 75% less energy than the equivalent 65W BR30 and 25% less than the common
18W CFL . Plus the Elite iFit625 features 50,000 hours of life, and California Title-24 compliance.

w OPTICS
Anyone can mount a chip to a heat sink and make a down light.
Gather the light scattered by the LED chip, shape it into a functional beam with a state of the art
reflector,integrate the light through a smooth reflector to minimize brightness, then top it all off with a glare
reducing cone that has a 55-degree cut-off. Now you have the Elite-engineered, superior quality, iFit625
consuming less than 14 Watts and producing over 620 lumens. Smooth baffle design further minimizes glare
and increases visual comfort.

INSTALLATION
w DURABILITY
Die-cast aluminum housing and heat management system are engineered for extremely long life and service
period. Without proper heat management, any LED luminaire will fail. Our die-cast system pulls the heat from
the LED chip, allowing the continued cool operation for years. Life tests have shown the Elite iFit625 light output
will be maintained at 70% of initial at 50,000 hours of operation. Our superior design allows for installation in
construction that requires the Elite Air-Shut™ system. Our LED driver is rated for 50 to 60 Htz at 120V input,
produces less than 20% THD, has a power factor between 0.90 and 1.00 and is thermal protected for additional
safety. For installations requiring a 277V driver please consult the factory.

Repeatability means quality. From our chip selection process, to our driver, to the thermal management, the Elite
iFit625 Module is engineered for quality. All Elite LED luminaries are rated at 85+ CRI, as rated and tested to LM-79
and LM-80 standards by a certified laboratory, and meets the California Title-24 compliance standards. Our stringent
chip specifications to accept only those chips that produce no ultra violet light and with very minimal infrared.
w DIMMABLE
The Elite iFit625 lighting system is dimmable down to 10% by using an approved Incandescent dimmer or
Select Electronic Low voltage dimmers. Refer to dimming matrix for more information.

Incandescent recessed downlight housings.

All Elite iFit625 luminaries are shipped standard with our custom engineered Edison adapter. This adapter
assembly allows the luminaries to install directly into existing Elite 5” and 6” incandescent downlight housings
and most other 6-inch and 5-inch incandescent downlight housings. GU24 style socket base adapters also
available upon request.

product from housing to bar hangers. When the iFit625 is installed in retrofit applications, only the
Module itself is warranted.
