SIRIUS Circuit Breakers:
there will be no chance of short circuits
Operators attaching importance to a high system
availability and effective motor and system protection
are well advised to opt for SIRIUS circuit breakers.
They guarantee a safe disconnection in case of short
circuits and protect loads and systems efficiently and
reliably against overload. Up to 45 kW/400 V.
SIRIUS circuit breakers can be easily connected without wiring to SIRIUS contactors and soft starters
through a link module.
The clearly structured program has been electrically
and mechanically matched to other SIRIUS product
ranges including contactors, soft starters and overload relays. The same applies to the device design.

When the main circuit is subjected to overload, phase
imbalance or phase failure, the connected loads are at
risk – except they are reliably protected.
SIRIUS motor protection
Our product range:
■ SIRIUS overload relays in thermal or electronic
version for current-dependent overload protection

switching and protection devices in the respective

■ SIMOCODE pro, the flexible and modularly designed motor management system for motors in

SIRIUS Soft Starters:

Today, the vast majority of drive concepts is based on
three-phase motors. In many cases, however, direct
starting or star-delta starting is not the best solution.
Adverse side effects, such as mechanical shocks in the
machine or voltage drops in the line supply are a common occurrence.
With our SIRIUS soft starter range, we are able to offer a considerably better alternative. The seamless
and hitherto unique spectrum covers all standard
and high-feature applications of motor starting. With

Our SIRIUS product range offers for all type of motors
suitable combinations for control cabinets or field
applications:

The SIRIUS system with IP20 allows combinations
of circuit breakers and contactors without fuses or
contactors and overload relays with fuses. If
required, also with a soft starter.
■ SIRIUS communication-capable motor starters
ET 200S motor starters reduce space and wiring
requirements in your control cabinet by 50%.
The completely pre-wired motor starters can even
be disconnected under power during operation.
ET 200pro motor starters switch and protect

SIMOCODE pro:
communication-capable motor management system
By means of the flexible and modular motor management system SIMOCODE pro, motors with constant
speeds up to 820 A can be particularly easily and reliably controlled. The intelligent system realizes all
motor protection and control functions, determines
operating, diagnosis and statistical data and controls
the communication between automation system and
motor feeder via PROFIBUS DP. SIMOCODE pro can be
easily integrated in automation systems via a standardized interface.
SIMOCODE pro is divided into two functionally distinct
device series: SIMOCODE pro C (Compact) for direct and
reversing starters and SIMOCODE pro V (Variable),
the variable motor management system with an
even larger functional scope for voltage and power
monitoring.
