within the Project Quotations
department who handle
project purchasing,
coordination of shipping
schedules and who
communicate with customers
to keep them informed of the
shipment status to help keep
their projects on track and on
budget. Our definition of
customer service also
includes proactive problemsolving for our customers—
ordering extra supplies “just
in case” as well as
coordinating the pick-up and
return for credit of incorrect
or surplus materials when
the needs of a job change.
Additionally, because our
local inventory is so
extensive (six branches
including our Harahan
warehouse), sometimes
problem-solving includes
loaning equipment to
customers who are waiting
on a delivery so that they
can complete their project on
time.

Hammond Blues and BBQ
Challenge
Nu-Lite’s Hammond Branch Manager Jeff Landreneau
participated in this year’s Hammond Blues & BBQ
Challenge March 23—24th. Out of 66 local teams
competing, Jeff placed 19th over all, 4th in ribs, 48th
in chicken and 10th in sauce. All of the money raised
this year went to three wonderful local organizations
that do amazing things for children and families in
need: T.A.R.C., Special Olympics Louisiana and
Tangi Food Pantry.
