Operations Leadership Programme (OLP)
“
Since starting the OLP I have been
challenged to push myself
consistently. It has been the start to
my career that I had hoped for, fast
paced and stimulating. The
Graduate Leadership Programmes
offered by Cooper Industries are
supported extremely well by
senior staff. Consequently I have
attended valuable training in Lean
Six Sigma and Finance. I have also
travelled abroad most notably
visiting a supplier in China. I’m sure
you will enjoy this opportunity,
much like your degree you get out of
it, what you put in!
”
LOOKING FOR A STRONG FEW
Cooper is looking for select candidates from highly regarded engineering
programs to join the company and climb the ranks. The Operations
Leadership Programme (OLP) was created to build a pool of high-potential
candidates for influential management positions within the various
operations functions.
Designed to build on your existing skills, the OLP exposes you to
experienced Cooper professionals through two rotational, one-year
assignments in up to two locations whilst studying for your APIC’s
qualification.
In addition, you may also gain exposure to assignments in the safety/
environmental, quality and sourcing arenas.
TRAINING
As a supplement to the day-to-day experiences, Cooper conducts
in-depth training workshops. These workshops are taught by experienced
Cooper leaders who provide insight on a variety of topics.
