SOLICITATION ADDENDUM NO. 1
ITB 15-0012
THE FOLLOWING CHANGES TO THE ABOVE CITED SOLICITATION ARE ANNOUNCED.
This Addendum modifies the Invitation to Bid (ITB) document(s) only to the extent indicated herein. All other
areas not changed or otherwise modified by this Addendum shall remain in full force and effect. This Addendum
is hereby made an integral part of the ITB document. Bidder must be responsive to any requirements of this
Addendum as if the requirements were set forth in the ITB. Failure to do so may result in Bid rejection. See the
ITB regarding requests for clarification or change and protests of this Addendum, and the deadlines for the
foregoing.
This addendum is to be acknowledged in the space provided on the Bidder Certification form supplied in the
solicitation document. Failure to acknowledge receipt of this addendum may be cause to reject your offer.
The closing date Remains as: May 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM
CHANGES:
The attached revised specifications and drawing sheet are incorporated in the RFP.
Provide a separate page that includes your schedule of labor rates.
CLARIFICATIONS:
A secondary component of the project is for some of our support facilities that will involve adding HVAC systems. For
the purposes of this Solicitation, the Contractor will need to engage a HVAC sub-Contractor and make provisions for
plumbing, line voltage and roof patch as required to provide the indicated systems.
Questions and Answers:
QWill existing fiber from the school’s MDF/IDF be used or is it being replaced?
AThis fiber is not being replaced.
QIs there a power outlet in all of the cabinets?
AThe majority of the cabinets have power outlets in them. There are some that don’t and these should be indicated on
the drawings. We would like power outlets added to the cabinets that don’t already have them.
QWhat will building access be during the summer? Will work be done while custodians are on site?
AWe will have custodians or monitors on site while the Contractor is working. Their standard working hours are
typically 7 am – 3 pm. We will try to stick to this schedule for the work. There may be some exceptions to that and we will
try to accommodate the Contractor’s needs. A custodian or a monitor will be on-site whenever the Contractor is there.
QA-
What brand of phones are currently installed and how many phones will be needed on the new phone system?
Providing phones is not part of this ITB.
