Key Stage 3 Curriculum by Year Group At Key Stage 3, pupils study a broad and balanced core curriculum. In year 9 pupils are offered ‘Early options’ where they select two creative subjects. A tutorial program is followed on a weekly basis within tutor groups. Additional PE/Sport is offered after school through the ‘Move it’ program. All sixth form students have allocated hours of private study alongside an enrichment / tutorial program of study that is a requirement in the sixth form. Year 12 will normally study one subject from each column. All subjects are AS levels unless otherwise indicated. The option columns are based on the ‘best fit’ to the choices made by students on their initial application to the sixth form.
