FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE---July 14, 2010 —Mina, SD: GLE Adds Northern Hand County-Area Storage

Growers in the northern Hand County area now have a more convenient location to dump and store corn. Glacial Lakes

Energy, LLC with locations in Mina and Watertown, SD, has entered into an agreement with Roger’s Brothers Grain

Storage to utilize its grain facility located 14 miles north of Miller near the intersection Highway 45 & 26. The two parties have entered into a short-term agreement with the ability to extend to a long-term agreement if the arrangement proves beneficial to both parties.

“We want to provide service to our producer members in the Miller, Redfield, and Faulkton area,” says Roger Hansen,

GLE’s Director of Grain Commodities. “This partnership allows us to do just that.” This site is a win-win as it will allow

GLE to procure corn from a greater distance as well as provides security of corn supply in what appears to be a short crop year. Since GLE Mina has limited corn storage, the Rogers Brothers site is a natural fit as it increases storage capacity by thirty percent.

“Another benefit to the Roger’s Brothers site is the utilization of transportation,” says Hansen, “We have a large number of distillers trucks that travel past this storage facility each day. We intend to use those trucks to bring corn from this site to

Mina and backhaul distillers to our customers.

The location has scales and testing equipment and will be staffed Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. GLE will post a separate daily corn bid on its website and on DTN. Contracted or spot corn deliveries will be accepted at this offsite facility from members and nonmembers.

“It’s a great deal for the area market to have a local delivery point,” stated Mike Rogers, owner of Rogers Brothers Grain

Storage. “We look forward to serving the area producers as well as the members of GLE.”

For more information or to contract corn, please contact Jason Wambach, GLE Commodities Merchandiser at 605-225-

9900. For delivery information, please contact Rogers Brothers Grain Storage Terminal Manager Kristin Hargens at 605-

853-2660. Or visit GLE’s website at www.glaciallakesenergy.com
