WSQ CERTIFIED OPERATIONS PROFESSIONAL (COP)
WSQ Certified Operations Specialist (COS) and WSQ
Certified Operations Professional (COP) are certifications
awarded by Singapore Workforce Development Agency
(WDA), which are extremely beneficial for all workers,
specially those in technical and operations-related jobs like
IR technicians, manufacturing, logistics, construction, real
estate maintenance and management.
WSQ Certified Operations Specialist (COS) is suitable for
the operational-level workers, providing them with the basic
training and skills as operations specialist in the
manufacturing or in performing technical duties in other
manufacturing-related industries. WSQ Certified Operations
Professional (COP) is suitable for supervisory/manageriallevel staff, preparing them with the essential supervisory
training and skills as operations professional in the
manufacturing or in other manufacturing-related industries.

WSQ CERTIFIED OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (COS)
PROGRAMME DELIVERY
MODULE 1: WSQ Apply 5S Techniques
WSQ Certified Operations Specialist (COS) and
WSQ Certified Operations Professional (COP)
consist of 4 modules each. WSQ COS is
conducted over 64 hours and WSQ COP is
conducted over 80 hours.
• SEIRI – Clear unnecessary items from work area
• SEITON – Organise work area in an orderly manner
• SEISO – Clean work area
• SEIKETSU – Maintain work area cleanliness
AWARD
• SHITSUKE – Maintain self-discipline in work area
Upon completion of this programme, a full
qualification certificate will be issued by Singapore
Workforce Development Agency (WDA). This also
includes a Statement of Attainment (SOA) for each
individual unit.
MODULE 2: WSQ Apply Quality Systems
• Plan daily work to meet quality system requirements
• Carry out daily work to meet quality system requirements

MODULE 3: WSQ Apply Teamwork in the Workplace

MODULE 1: WSQ Supervise Teams at Work
• Relating to team members from a diverse range of backgrounds and abilities
• Communicating with others
• Assist team establishment and development of team culture
• Assist improving team performance
MODULE 2: WSQ Supervise Work Improvement Processes
• Plan work improvement activities
• Implement and standardise work improvement processes
• Determine the KPI for the work teams to achieve based on the work
improvement activities identified
MODULE 3: WSQ Supervise Quality Procedures
• Completed PSLE and are able to speak, read
and write in basic English, or
• Possess the following competency ratings from
the Employability Skills System (ESS):
- Listening/Speaking Min. Level 3
- Reading/Writing Min. Level 3
- Numeracy Min. Level 3
WSQ COP:
• Completed O’ Level and are able to speak, read
and write in basic English, or
• Possess the following competency ratings from
the Employability Skills System (ESS):
- Listening/Speaking Min. Level 5
- Reading/Writing Min. Level 5
- Numeracy Min. Level 5
PROGRAMME FEES
WSQ COS: S$192.60*
WSQ COP: S$363.80*
*Individual modules are available. The above fees include 7%
GST and 90% WDA funding for Singapore Citizens and
Singapore Permanent Residents.
