The Bill has been submitted to the Legislative Yuan
for approval.
The goal of 6,500 MW for renewable energies
utilization was set.
Purchase price for renewable energy shall be
reviewed.
A special-purpose fund shall be set-up.

Enhancing Energy Efficiency

To reach an annual improvement of 2% in energy efficiency
Energy intensity in 2015 will be 20% less than in 2005 and 50%
lower than the 2005 level by 2025
Developing Clean Energy
To return to 2008 levels of carbon emissions by 2020 and to return
to the level of emissions in 2000 by 2025
To promote the share of "low carbon" energy sources of total
electricity power output from 40% at present to 55% by 2025
Ensuring Energy Supply Stability
To achieve an annual economic growth of 6 percent, secure per
capita income of US$30,000 by 2015 based on the energy supply
security system

the semiconductor and TFT/LCD panel industries in
Chinese Taipei by 2015.
Seven energy technologies to be developed including
solar PV, LED, wind power, biofuels, hydrogen energy
& fuel cell, energy IC, and electric vehicle.
