HOW YOU CAN INVEST LIKE WARREN BUFFETT
BUDGETING-IN CONTROL AND GETTING AHEAD
Warren Buffett-with an estimated fortune of
$67 billion- is widely considered to be the
world’s greatest investor. However, he started
from relatively humble beginnings. So how
did he do it? He had some great teachers,
none more influential than Benjamin Graham
and David Dodd. Buffett calls their teaching
his greatest professional influence ever and
follows them meticulously. But they are well
documented and anyone can understand
them. This class explains them and uses
current examples to show how anyone can
invest like Buffett and change their life forever.
Substantial notes are provided. A basic
understanding of the share market is assumed.

AN INTRODUCTION TO ROMAN HISTORY «NEW»
SA RESOURCES FOR FAMILY HISTORY
The aim of this course is to introduce Roman
History to people who have always been
interested in it, but feel lost and don’t know
where to start. We look at the 3 periods:
Rome Under the 7 Kings, Rome Under the
Republic and Rome Under the Empire. It
examines the role played by key personalities
such as Hannibal, Spartacus, Julius Caesar
and the emperors as well as the social causes
behind the main events. Finally it analyses
the overwhelming influence Roman society
has had on our own. At the end of the course
people will then be in a position to further
their knowledge by tackling the Roman
writers and the works of modern specialists.
Martin Coghlan BA, DipEd
This course for family historians outlines the
processes to access the records of a number
