1.0 General. This item shall govern the purchase and installation of a fiberglass traffic cabinet (FTC) equivalent to the Wavetronix Click fiberglass cabinet.
2 .0 Product Description. The FTC shall be used to house the communication and power cables and devices used in a traffic
detection system.
3.0 Physical. The FTC shall be available in teh following physical dimensions and weights:

14 in. x 12 in. x 7 in. (35.6 cm X 30.5 cm x 17.8 cm) and 10.5 lbs. (4.8 kg)

The FTC shall have stainless steel latches, screws and a full-length hinge.
The FTC shall feature a seamless polyurethane door gasket.
The FTC shall be available in two latches: the hinged lock latch and the hinged padlock latch for quick entry.
The FTC shall have an integrated mounting flange.
The FTC shall ship with a backplate and mounting brackets
4.0 Mounting. The FTC shall be shipped with mounting brackets and can be attached to a pole using Band-it (or equivalent)
mounting straps.
5.0 Connections. The FTC shall come equipped with a grounding post and shall also feature optional installed cable grips that
provide weatherproof entry for cables.
6.0 Security. The FTC shall feature the following door locking options:
• Hinged lock latch
• Hinged padlock latch
7.0 Security. Before shipping, each FTC shall have passed a manufacturer’s test.
The FTC shall be NEMA 4X-tested for indoors and outdoors to provide a degree of protection against:
• Falling dirt
