for difficult access areas due to a reliable induction platform
Why choose QL Induction Lighting?
features lie with the extraordinary luminaire life
The performance of QL Induction
Lighting is unprecedented and there are many more important benefits to highlight:
time of 100,000 hours combined with high lumen
• 80+ CRI for a crisp white light
yield and an unique product reliability. This mix leads
• High reliability, instant re-strike
to a low maintenance lighting solution that
• Hot and cold temperature operation
will outperform any of the available
• Constant “light” over temperature
LED lighting systems today.
• 3,000K, 4,000K & 5,000K color of choice
• Excellent lumen maintenance
• Stepless dimming, from 100% down
QL Induction Lighting was first introduced and
marketed in 1992 to offer state of the art technology.
For QL Induction Lighting the most important
to 50% of the lamp power
QL Induction Lighting is a proven and smart
technology that does not make use of any
electrodes. This specific functional design reduces
the wear and tear of the luminaire hardware. It
creates a significant improvement of the product
life time and at the same time it offers a superior
reliability when compared to other lighting systems.
Such a feature makes QL Induction Lighting Systems
stand out in comparison to any other lighting
systems. Due to a virtually maintenance free
performance it is the ideal and dependable solution
for hazardous and hard-to-reach applications.
In addition, QL Induction Lighting is a safe and
professional choice that has been made for many
applications worldw ide. The range of different light
colors, lamp wattages and stepless dimming makes
it a leading lighting solution. That is why you should
choose the innovative QL Induction Lighting System.

A broad variety of applications,
one clear choice of lighting
Research shows that bright white light is the
best choice for outdoor lighting. This applies
to residential lighting and city beautification.
First of all, with white light there is a better
visibility and color recognition. That is exactly
what artificial lighting is supposed to deliver. And
secondly, the perception of the eye tells us that QL
Lighting offers a higher perceived brightness level
over HPS lamps. This is logical as the yellow HPS
light does not reflect all the colors and depths.

The QL solution is easy to integrate in most
luminaire systems. And with 3,000K, 4,000K and
5,000K color options the QL Induction Lighting
will blend in perfectly in different scenes to fulfill
its tasks; deliver functional and reliable lighting,
create a warm atmosphere or make design

QL Induction Lighting testing
During the development and introduction we have
tested our QL components in every detail. We
use modern equipment and testing procedures
that comply with US and EU law. New product
design is put through a series of tests for highly
accelerated life testing and stress tests in order to
maximize the product reliability and life time. Our
manufacturing locations comply with the latest
regulations and standards for the electronics and
lighting industry and use rigid specifications for all
QL Induction Lighting products.
QL Lighting has an ignition time of < 0.5 seconds
and its hot-restrike time is similar. The QL lamp
has a flicker-free ignition in both cold and hot
conditions. The minimum temperature for ignition
is tested at -13°F / -25°C. This QL Induction Lighting
technology has qualified for electromagnetic
compatibility, EMC. This specific EMC certification
is important when using QL Lighting in areas
where interference with other electromagnetic
technology is unacceptable.
