Arriving at the Spa
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to treatment booking time, to allow time to fill out client consultation cards,
etc.
The Azul Sensatori Vassa Journey
We suggest arriving 40-60 minutes prior to your first service in order to enjoy the Azul Water Journey This
will relax and warm the muscles, which will aid in the therapeutic benefits of all our treatments and
services. The water journey is complimentary with all 50 minute or longer treatment.
Late Arrivals
Please keep in mind that arriving late for a service may require us to shorten the length of the treatment,
with full charges applied, so as not to inconvenience other guests
Spa Etiquette
To preserve harmony within the spa, kindly turn off your mobile phone. We recommend the use of bathing
suits and kindly request you wear swimwear.
Health Concerns
On arrival at the Spa you will be given a health consultation card to fill in. Please inform the Spa of any
allergies or medical conditions, i.e. pregnancy, high blood pressure, asthma, etc. Some treatments are
cautioned for certain conditions.
Gift Certificates
Vassa Spa gift certificates are perfect for any occasion and are available for individual treatments, spa or
bridal packages or retail products from our Spa boutique.
Cancellation Policy
We require 24 hours prior notice for changes or cancellations. Appointments cancelled 12 hours in
advance will incur a 50% charge. Cancellations within 6 hours of the scheduled treatment will incur a
100% charge.

This relaxing massage will focus on the areas that commonly retain the most stress and tension: neck, back,

A wonderful, truly relaxing, and therapeutic finger pressure massage to key energy balancing points in the
face, head, and shoulders. This is an ancient Oriental longevity secret for a youthful and ageless look.

To cultivate calmness and a deep sense of serenity, this massage blends natural grape seed oil with essential
oils to aid relaxation. A firm or gentle massage to relieve knots of tension; pressure will be tailor-made to

Aroma-essence Massage
Soothe your senses with our unique and conforting massage technique that simulates the detoxifying
systems in the bod with precious and healing aromatic balms applied to the entire body. This treatment is
ideal to soothe body, mind, and spirit. Not recommended for pregnant women or acute allergic reactions.

 RELAX: Essential oils of lavender, neroli, sandalwood and patchouli bring a sense of
complete harmony.
 DETOX. Essential oils of geranium, lemongrass, patchouli, and sandalwood help to drain
and relieve the body of toxins.
Aroma Reflexology
Enjoy an ancient technique of deep pressure point massage to stimulate the reflex points in the feet. It
encourages the body's own natural healing process and rebalances energy levels. Warm stones are used at
the end of the treatment. (50 minutes)
Thai-Massage / Shiatsu
Traditional Thai Massage looks back upon a long history of therapeutic healing. The theoretical basis for
this style of bodywork is the existence of the “energy body” through which life force flows. Through
compressions, pressure on specific points and stretching to release blockages, a free flow of energy is
restored, bringing inner balance and a profound sense of wellness for body, mind, and spirit. Thai massage
is performed on a futon, special pajamas are provided by the Spa. No oil or lotion is used. (80 minutes)
Lomi Juma Caribbean Massage
Signature. Restore balance between mind and body while facing the soothing rhythm of the waves of the
Caribbean. Relish this massage infused in Hawaiian tradition specially focused towards freeing the passage
of energy, while improving circulation and lymphatic flow, through the gentle tropical aroma butter applied
in rhythmic movements of hands and forearms. (50 & 80 minutes)
Sacred Stone Massage
Stones have an important place in Mayan culture as they were used in a variety of rituals; the memory
keepers of the ancient world were thought to have the power to heal and restore vitality of the body. Our
sacred stone massage provided by warm, soothing obsidian stones, which are placed on or used to massage
the body with soft gliding strokes using relaxing aromatic oil. For many, this experience results in a blissful
state that can only be described as spiritual and mystic. (80 minutes)

special medical conditions - hypertension, allergies, or prescription medications the child is taking, any of
which may represent contraindications for certain services.

Safety: When a guest/kid/child is left in our care we will require the parent/guardian picking up
the child to show valid identification, in case the person picking up the child is not the one who dropped
him/her off. Parents are welcome to stay with their kids.
