Note: All dimensions are approximate. If critical specification is required, please consult factory. When specifying
modular seating, all elements are identified by facing the
front of units.
PACKAGING
Except as otherwise specified, all kron furniture is polywrapped with polyethylene foam padding and shipped in
cartons, the cost of which is included in prices.
CONTRACT SPECIALS
Kron will consider, whenever possible, on a project-byproject basis, requests for minor variations in kron models and will be pleased to respond to customer inquiry as to
feasibility and pricing. Special sizes for conferencing/dining
and occasional tables are usually available, please consult
factory for pricing.
MATERIALS AND FINISHES
Because many of the materials kron uses are natural materials and therefore, accept finishing differently, kron cannot
guarantee that finished items will be an exact match to sample from which finish was selected. Not all finishes offered
are available for all products: refer to specific product specifications for selections and consult with factory as needed.
Metal: Metal finishes for a variety of kron collections
include polished aluminum and black epoxy coat as base
options for executive seating. Steel metal frames are
offered in metallic powdercoat finish as standard, bright and
or brushed chrome as special order.
Granite: Granite is collected from different quarries, providing four distinctive colorations including peal gray, rose,
charcoal and africa red, priced in grades a and b. Please
consult factory for sizes and specifications.
SPECIAL FINISHES
Kron is pleased to cooperate with requests for special finishes, when the need arises, with an order of ten or more
pieces. Please consult factory for preliminary approval and
processing instructions. Specific upcharges to cover the
cost of applying special finishes, or non-standard kron finishes, to intended kron items are shown in the individual
product
specifications. These upcharges are in addition
to the cost of special finish material, if other than kron colors. Custom colors require an additional one-time charge
of $60.00 net per color for
mixing and customer
approvals.

KRON TEXTILES
Kron textiles include a broad selection of companion programs with DesignTex and Mayer fabrics for application on
kron models, as well as for purchase separately. For
detailed information on purchasing kron textiles, refer to
Textile Ordering information and prices elsewhere in this
price list. Offering of these fabrics does not constitute any
responsibility nor any warranty on the part of kron as to
appearance, behavior, color fastness, or durability of the
fabric.Call factory for grading of fabrics not listed.
For the complete coloration and/or samples of the Mayer or
DesignTex programs, please contact either the fabric company representatives or kron directly.
KRON LEATHER COLLECTION
Kron offers a selection of fine full-grain and top-grain
leathers. kron leathers include several varieties with over
100 different colors and are priced within grades b, c and d.
For more detailed specifications of kron leathers, please
refer to kron leather collection price list contained herein.
For samples of leather varieties and colors, please contact
your kron representative or the factory. For custom leather
colorations, please consult factory for leather availability
and special requirements.
Because of natural variations over which kron has no control, leather hides contain certain marks, scars, scratches,
wrinkles, and variations in color, texture and grain which
are considered to be inherent characteristics and part of the
natural beauty of leather. Kron cannot be responsible for
the size or location of such marks or variations.
TEXTILE MAINTENANCE
Kron recommends professional cleaning services for all
leathers and fabrics. Detailed maintenance information for
kron leather is available through your regular sales representative or from the factory. For maintenance of
DesignTex, and Momentum fabrics, consult these suppliers.
Note: Variations in color between dye lots for both leathers
and fabrics cannot be avoided and kron cannot be responsible for differences in color or tone between covering
material supplied and samples from which choice has been
made, or for matching upholstery for separate orders. If
color match is critical, request a sample from actual goods
prior to cutting. Please consult factory for standard flammability and protective finishing of kron Textiles.
CUSTOMER’S OWN MATERIAL (COM)
CUSTOMER’S OWN LEATHER (COL)
Kron is pleased to cooperate with requests for COM/COL
applications. To help ensure a satisfactory merging of
COM/COL with selected kron furniture, kron requires that
the com/col be approved prior to order placement and
acceptance.
APPROVAL PROCEDURE
Prior to order placement a sample cutting of the actual
COM/COL must be submitted to kron for preliminary
approval on an intended item. COL and plain COM require
a minimum 3 x 3 sample. COM with a pattern repeat
requires a sample large enough to show full repeat.
Complete fabric information and special instructions in writing must accompany sample.
Necessary COM/COL information must include the quantity
and identification of kron model on which the fabric or
leather is to be applied, in addition to the following:
• supplier name
• pattern name and number
• fabric width
• fiber content
• weave or pattern direction, (eg., railroading)
• face side of fabric, if similar or reversible
• other details pertinent to submitted sample
Different fabrics and leathers may differ in appearance and
wrinkles from showroom samples and catalog photographs
when in use. Kron assumes no responsibility for overall
appearance, flammability, normal durability, colorfastness,
performance or other quantities of customer supplied material on the finished product. Even after preliminary approval,
kron reserves the right to reject com/col including, if necessary, application of com/col to the selected model.
YARDAGE AND SQUARE FOOTAGE REQUIREMENTS
FABRIC: Unless otherwise indicated, kron always applies
fabric topped, as shown on fabric sample card. Published
yardage requirements are based on topping plain fabrics
52-54” wide. Plain fabrics 50-51” wide require additional
yardage of 10%; for fabrics under 50” wide, consult factory.
Fabrics that have a pattern with a repeat necessitate
matching and require additional yardage as shown below.
Matching patterns requires an upcharge of 3%.

Fabrics that are directional or napped (eg.,velvet) may
require additional yardage. Please consult factory.
It is recommended that stripes be applied vertically. In the
absence of specific instructions from customer, kron will
use its best judgement in the application of com.
LEATHER: Published square footage for customer’s own
leather is based on hides measuring a minimum of 45
square feet; smaller hides and hides containing excessive
holes, cuts or other unusable imperfections may necessitate additional seams and could require increased square
footage.To determine COL suede square footage, please
consult factory.
SHIPPING OF COM/COL
All goods for approved com/col applications are to be
shipped freight prepaid. Outside of package must be clearly tagged with the following:
• customer’s name and project identification
• yardage or square footage contained in shipment
• goods’ supplier, pattern name and number
• kron model number and quantity for intended application
Fabric or leather delivered without proper identification
clearly marked on outside of package will be refused and
kron shall have no responsibility for loss or any other claim.
The manufacture of kron items for use with com/col will not
be scheduled for production until customer’s goods are
received at kron factory.
SPECIAL FLAMMABILITY CODE REQUIREMENTS
When a specific flammability specification is required, kron
should be informed of the code to be passed and the
method of testing for that particular code. kron will determine if specified model will meet that particular code.
Flammability requirements of com/col are the responsibility
of the customer before the fabric/leather is shipped to kron.
All foam meets California Home Furnishings Bulletin, #117,
Section E, with no upcharge.
CALIFORNIA TECHNICAL BULLETIN 133
California Technical Bulletin 133 requires special construction procedures and some fabrics may require additional
treatment for compliance. Please consult with Customer
Service for upcharges.

ORDERS AND ORDER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
All orders shall be in writing and will be confirmed by
Kron in writing prior to production. Telephone orders will
not be processed until written order is received. Orders
are not binding on Kron until the order acknowledgement
is issued. The order acknowledgement is the final
expression of the agreement between the customer and
Kron, and supersedes, all prior oral and written statements regarding the order. The acknowledgement can
be modified only in writing from Kron, or by an acknowledgement issued by Kron.
CHANGE ORDERS
Kron is not required to accept changes requested after
the order acknowledgement, however, as a general rule,
Kron will accept reasonable changes with the following
conditions:
" the request for change must be submitted in writing
and received in time to be implemented.
" Changes will be subject to additional-charges for material, labor and administration costs.
CANCELLATIONS
Orders may not be canceled by the customer without the
prior written consent of Kron. A cancellation or restocking charge of up to the total amount of the order is applicable on orders canceled. If orders containing customer's own material / leather (COM / COL) are canceled after production has begun, the COM/ COL cannot
be returned or credited.
PRICES
Published prices are list, freight paid by Kron, to any
one destination (dock to dock) within the continental
U.S. Outside the U.S. additional freight charges will
apply. $50 freight charge for orders under $1500 list will
apply. Because of frequent fluctuations in raw materials
Kron reserves the right to change prices without notice.
All orders accepted subject to prices prevailing at time
of order. Prices do not include:

Storage or insurance charges
"
Sales or other taxes
"
Local delivery, uncartoning or installation
MINIMUM ORDER
Due to the high cost of processing orders, any order
under $1500.00 List will be subject to a $40.00 net service charge. All orders of less than $3,000.00 List to destinations outside the U.S. subject to $50.00 net charge
to cover additional paper work.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
Orders require 50 % deposit upon placement of order,
balance required prior to shipment. Terms for accredited
customers are net ten days. Kron may cancel or change
credit terms at its discretion and may request advance
payment at any time. Payment is due upon receipt of
invoice and is considered delinquent if not made within
ten days from the date of invoice. In the event timely
payment is not made, Interest will be charged at the rate
of 1 1/2, % per month. Buyer will also be liable for normal collection costs including attorney's fees. Title to
goods sold shall be retained and reserved by Kron as
long as monies are owing, even if such goods have been
delivered.
STORAGE
When merchandise is ready and the Buyer cannot
accept the delivery, the below listed storage charges will
be assessed: (Charges below are based on a five day
week, i.e. $25 per day would not exceed $125 per week)
A. Quantity of 25 items or less - $25.00 per day
B. Quantity of 26 to 100 items will be $1 per day per
chair
C. Quantities exceeding 100 may require an off-site
quote depending on current activities. Please note:
Storage fees are to be prepaid.
SHIPPING
All quoted delivery dates are approximate and all orders
are subject to delay or failure of delivery due to strikes
or other labor difficulties, acts of God, war, riot, fire,
accident, compliance with government regulations or
other causes beyond Kron's control. Kron is not liable
for any delay in shipment. All Kron shipments are made
on a dock-to-dock basis. Inside, residential or call
before delivery services subject to additional charges by
the carrier. Kron does not provide set-up or installation.
DAMAGE CLAIMS
Kron is not responsible for damages or loss incurring in
transit. All furniture is shipped at the purchaser's own
risk after it has been carefully inspected and securely
packed. It is accepted as such by the carrier. Before
accepting merchandise from the carrier, customer
should carefully inspect all items and note any loss or
damage on the delivery receipt. If there is loss or damage, make immediate claim with the delivering carrier.
In case damage is concealed and not determined until
furniture is unpacked, keep the packing and notify the
carrier immediately for an inspection. Failure to make
such claim shall constitute acceptance of the merchandise and waiver of any defects, errors or shortages.
OTHER CLAIMS
All claims against Kron other than valid warranty claims
-including claims for shortages and errors must be made
within ten days after delivery. Failure to make any such
claims against Kron within such ten day period shall
constitute acceptance of the merchandise and waiver of
any such shortages, errors or other claims.
RETURNS
No return of merchandise will be accepted without our
written consent and shipping instructions. Unauthorized
returns will not be accepted and will be returned freight
collect. Authorized returns must be made on a freight
prepaid basis to Kron's designated destination and are
subject to substantial restocking charges (25% to 80%
of invoice amount). Special order items are not subject
to return.
CUSTOMER'S OWN MATERIAL/ LEATHER
Kron reserves the right of preliminary approval for all
COM / COL prior to order acceptance. Even after such
preliminary approval, Kron reserves the right to reject
COM / COL including, if necessary, application of COM /
COL to the selected model. When COM/COL is accepted, Kron assumes no responsibility for its appearance,
durability, color-fastness or any other quality after being
upholstered on Kron product.
Prices include labor to apply COM (fabrics and vinyl) or
COL (leathers and suede) to Kron product. At Kron's discretion, additional yardage, labor charges, or handling
surcharges may be required as a condition of COM /
COL acceptance. COM/COL delivered to Kron's factory
without preliminary approvals, order acceptance and
appropriate identification may be refused and Kron will
accept no responsibility for loss or any other claims.
DESIGNS AND SPECIFICATIONS
The products shown and described in the Kron catalog
and price lists are, and remain, our property. All dimensions shown are approximate. Kron reserves the right to
make changes in price, dimensions, design and construction without prior notice.

This warranty does not cover labor, freight or other costs
or expenses to remove or install any defective, repaired
or returned goods.
This warranty does not apply to defects in components
or materials not manufactured by kron, except as herein
stated. This warranty specifically excludes customer's
own material, damage resulting from shipment to storage outside of kron premises, or to damage resulting
from accident, alteration, abuse, misuse, negligence, or
normal wear and tear. Covering materials are not warranted against fading, wearing and performance, or if
cut by the customer or others. Printed textiles are not
warranted against irregularity in register. Because of
natural variations over which kron has no control, this
warranty does not extend to color, surface, grain or texture of leather, granite or wood; and kron does not warrant matching of color, surface grain or texture of these
materials, except as stated herein.
All other express warranties and all implied warranties,
including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a
particular purpose, are hereby excluded. In addition,
Kron shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages. This warranty extends to original customer
only.
KRON TEXTILES
All other General Ordering Information and Terms and
Conditions of Sale are applicable except as herein
amended or supplemented:
Fabrics are computed to the nearest 1/4 yard, minimum
order requirement is one yard.
Leathers are computed to the nearest full hide, minimum
order requirement is one hide. When filling leather
orders, kron will make every attempt to select full hide
sizes to match as closely as possible, but not be less
than, the specified square footage. Leather is a natural
product and hide size varies; some overage should be
expected.

All published prices for kron textiles are net F.O.B. Fort
Lauderdale, Florida and are subject to change without
notice. Prices do not include:

CLAIMS
Claims on yardages or square footage of fabrics or
leathers will not be considered if goods have been cut by
the customer or others. No claims for labor charges will
be allowed in any circumstances. Cutting of textiles will
be deemed acceptance of the textiles yardage or square
footage and waiver of all defects, shortages and errors.

WARRANTY
Kron utilizes top quality materials and merchandise for
the manufacture of its products. Strenuous tests for
structural integrity are performed, where applicable
under BIFMA (Business and Institutional Manufacturer's
Association) guidelines.
12-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
All structural components are warranted against defects
in material and workmanship for 12 years from date of
original purchase. Mechanisms, controls and gas cylinders are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for 5 years; foam and padding materials for 2
years.
During the warranty period, kron will repair or replace, at

Kron Leather Collection
Kron leathers, selected from only the finest hides are full and top grain and are drum dyed with aniline to provide rich, pure penetrated
colors, while preserving the natural surface grain texture of the leather.
By utlizing various tanning and finishing methods, a broad variety of leathers with individual characteristics and qualities and price grades
can be offered. The kron leather collection includes three different leathers with over 100 colorations.
Leather is computed to the nearest full hide. Minimum order requirement is one hide. For pricing for quantities over 3,000 square feet, consult factory. Samples available upon request.

Kron's Natural Resources Environmental Policy is to:

How Policy is implemented:

Recycling/Recyclable Initiatives
• Kron's steel and aluminum components are manufactured from recycled materials. These parts may be recycled at the end of
the product life cycle.
• Kron recycles scrap textiles.
• Wood shipping pallets are reused and recycled.
• Boxes and shipping materials are from recycled materials.
Product Lifecycle Considerations
• In order to extend the life of each of our products, Kron's timeless designs are specified only with the finest materials.
• All Kron products undergo rigorous testing. Tests conform to or exceed ANSI/BIFMA standards. This ensures product longevity
as well as user safety.
Supplier Compliance
Whenever possible, Kron requests that its suppliers operate in a fashion such as to minimize environmental impact. Great effort is
applied to reduce, reuse and recycle. Examples include:
• Fabrics: All Kron specified fabrics comply with EPA requirements and contain no ozone depleting chemicals.
• Leather: European high quality hides with average 50-60 square feet provide maximum yield.
• Wood Parts: Wood residues from frame manufacturing are recycled.
Packaging materials
• Cartons are produced from the highest recycled content possible while maintaining the structural integrity of the packaging. This
provides cost efficient, biodegradable and recyclable packaging for our products.

The aranda collection offers executive, management and conference/guest chairs
(shown in guest seating/side chairs section) in two back heights.

The swivel models are pneumatically height adjustable and are offered with either a
heavy duty knee-tilt (standard) or optional synchro-tilt mechanism. The knee-tilt and
synchro-tilt mechanisms are made of die cast aluminum, and offer 6 and 7 locking
positions respectively and a "return prevention" safety function.
A lounge chair, settee, loveseat and three-seat sofa complete the collection, and these
are shown in the lounge/reception section of this catalog.
Specifications:
• Die-cast aluminum swivel bases come standard in black epoxy finish while polished aluminum is available for an upcharge.

The click is a collection of executive, task and conference chairs as well as
cantilever base guest seating designed by Burkhard Vogtherr. Click’s sleek
profile brings a contemporary elegance to both the office and conference
room seating.

• The back frame is constructed in cold-cure flexible polyurethane foam,
molded around a steel frame. The seat is multi-density polyurethane on
hardwood plywood.

The Slim collection provides a full family of ergonomic office chairs for executive,
conference, operational and guest seating.
Chairs are available with sliding seat pan, adjustable back height (both available on
synchro-tilt models only) and fixed or adjustable arms.
The swivel models are pneumatically height adjustable and are offered with either a
heavy duty knee-tilt (standard) or optional synchrotilt mechanism. The knee-tilt and
synchro-tilt mechanisms are made of die cast aluminum, and offer 6 and 7 locking
positions respectively and a "return prevention" safety function.
model 3211
Kron’s Slim incorporates a special fabric, that is breathable and heavy duty. It may
be used with a sewn-in front cushion (3100 series).
All models are offered in low, mid and high back versions.
Specifications:
• Slim frames are constructed in heavy guage tubular steel wrapped in
polyurethane foam. The seat is molded in flexible cold-cure polyurethane foam
to provide maximum comfort.
• Die-cast aluminum five-star bases come standard in black epoxy finish; polished
aluminum is available for an upcharge.

• 3100 series inside back and seat upholstered in leather or fabric. Outside back

anodized aluminum.

The mango collection includes an armchair, settee, two and three cushion sofas, as
well as three backless benches.
The settee can be specified with a single arm, right or left facing. This allows flexible
configurations and interesting design possibilities.
Bases are rectangular steel tubing finished in satin chrome powdercoat.
The collection is accompanied by a selection of conference/dining and occasional
