Relay Interface
The Vimpex Relay Interfaces are designed to provide a connection between external
equipment and alarm systems. Building Management Systems (BMS), security, fire and
smoke dampers and lift shutdown are just some of the applications for this device.
The unit is designed to be connected directly to the sounder circuit of the fire alarm
system. The relay automatically activates when an alarm is sounded. It can also be
connected directly to a fire alarm or security control panel outputs.
The double-pole relay provides two sets of NC and NO contacts that can switch up to 8
A each. An LED provides visual indication of relay activation. The unit fits a standard UK
electrical back box or can be provided with a back box for surface mounting.
