Our Story
Hamsar originated with the entrepreneurial spirit of the President, Fred Kelly to create his
own company more than 30 years ago. From a humble beginning starting out in his garage
to now one of the world’s leaders in lighting and technology, the company still reflects his
attitude and commitment to innovation and customer service today.
Hamsar has grown to be a world leader in manufacturing and distributing automotive
lighting,heavy equipment work lamps, daytime running lights, high intensity discharge
lighting, bulbs, silk screen promotional products, electronics, printed circuit boards and
flex strip lighting and many other electronics products.
At Hamsar we have an in-house engineering department and testing facility with up-tothe-minute design capabilities that meets S.A.E., D.O.T. and ECE STANDARDS. Our onsite testing facility includes a photometric light tunnel, audio chamber, environmental
chamber, salt spray chamber and life cycle test area. This allows us to create a customized
and comprehensive solution for projects with even the most stringent specifications and
timelines from concept to final product.
With a manufacturing and distribution centre in our Canadian Head Office and a second
distribution centre in Temecula, California we have established ourselves as a reliable supplier
of ISO quality products with an exemplary fill rate and a dependable shipping record.

What is the difference of Lumens vs Lux?
The Lumen (a unit of luminous flux) is a measure of the total amount of visible light emitted by
a source. The Lux takes into account the area over which the luminous flux is spread.

Back-Up Alarms
Hamsar Diversco provides a variety of back-up alarms
to suit multiple applications. The Society of Automotive
Engineers (SAE) provides a class system for back-up
alarms to categorize each class with a sound level.
The sound level tolerance for each class is +/- 4dB (A).
Strobe Beacons
Hamsar Diversco also provides multiple beacon lights.
The three classes are described by the SAE standard
(J1318). Each class is based on certain criteria

Limited One (1) Year Warranty
Hamsar Diversco Inc. products have been manufactured under the highest standards of quality and workmanship. The following
warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, whether expressed, implied or statutory with respect to or relating to
any product shipped hereunder (the “Product”). Hamsar Diversco Inc. warrants that the Product is, at the time of shipment to the
Purchaser, free of material and workmanship defects provided that there shall be no warranty with respect to any Product which
has been repaired or altered in any way, which has been subject to negligence, accident, improper storage or damaged in shipment
without the fault of Hamsar Diversco Inc. or has not been installed, used or maintained in accordance with normal practice and in
conformity with the recommendations or the published specifications of Hamsar Diversco Inc.
Hamsar Diversco Inc. shall, at its option, repair or replace any defective Product or refund the purchase price of a Product provided a
warranty claim is made within one (1) year of the date of shipment of the Product and this shall be the full extent of Hamsar Diversco
Inc.’s liability for breach of warranty. Exclusions to this Policy are all bulbs fitted with all lamps and all replacement bulbs, which are not
covered under this policy.
Additional Exclusions to this Policy include the following:
• XWL-800, 810, 812 Series of Products – Limited Five (5) Year Warranty
• XWL-820 Series of Products – Limited Two (2) Year Warranty
• All Bulbs – Limited Ninety (90) Day Warranty After Shipment Date
