Hope’ is a Birmingham based Christian agency whose central focus is:

behaviours and attitudes that are threatening to themselves, their families and communities.

integrity and anti-oppressive practice, enabling

The need for transformation
Our search through the ages for truth,
meaning, and significance.
We all need to tell and understand our story.
Bringing Hope’s opinion unless young people
reclaim themselves as spiritual beings, redefined in
terms of new needs, desires, and a stronger sense
of purpose, the result will be bad
The very thought of having to transform or change
oneself can and does strike fear into the hearts
and minds of many
Personal transformation is a process that takes
time, nurturing, and support.
The need for transformation
To begin the journey, one must first recognise the need to
transform.
Decide to change past resistance.
For many, the inability to share thoughts, the vulnerability of not being listened to or
understood, generates the kind of internal oppression that all too often leads to isolation
and withdrawal, what we call “Silent Screams”
