Job History:
The City of Los Angeles looked to ANP to fabricate a custom period lantern and large
scale bracketed arm for the 1st Street Bridge modernizing project. Sketches were provided and our engineering team and in-house foundry created this distinctive, proprietary
Lantern and Post Mount Arm to match the historic architecture of the bridge. The heavy
duty cast aluminum constructed luminaire works seamlessly with the massive bracketed
arm as well as a pendant mount. This custom luminaire has Type 5 optics, white acrylic
lens and tool-less entry. The committed partnership between the City of Los Angeles and
our qualified manufacturing and engineering departments made this fixture and mount
both an aesthetic and performance fit for this monumental project.
