South Lambeth Road pedestrian crossing – temporary closure From mid-February, the pedestrian crossing between South Lambeth Road and Clapham Road (next to the Memorial Garden) will be closed while works are completed in this area. Alternative crossing points will be clearly signposted and a new staggered crossing will be installed in May 2016. Working hours As the well as the specific dates and times outlined above, other works will be continuing in the area as normal on Mondays to Saturdays between 08:00 and 18:00. Some Sunday working may also be required to complete the scheme as quickly as possible.
