CONDITIONS AND DEFINITIONS
Rating conditions are 300 ft (91.4 m) above sea
level, 29.61 in (0.7521 m) Hg at 77° F (25° C).
Deductions in horsepower of 3% for each
1000 ft (305 m) above 300 ft (91.4 m) and 1% for
each 10° F (5.6° C) increase in ambient
temperature above 77° F (25° C) are required as
specified in NFPA-20.
Standby fire pump ratings represent the output
which may be utilized to drive stationary fire
pumps where the pumping equipment has been
sized according to ULI, ULC, and FM procedures.
Additional ratings may be available for specific
customer requirements. Consult your Caterpillar
representative for details.
