MirroStar luminaires combine superior
performance with easy maintenance
to provide a unique solution for area
lighting. The Miro4™ optics creates a
safe and secure environment by
producing a distribution that is very
uniform but also generates good
vertical illumination. In addition, all
MirroStar luminaires meet IES full
cutoff classification to help limit light
pollution and light trespass.
Lamp access is through the piano
hinged door assembly. The ballast
components are mounted to a single,
removable tray. The housing is 18
gauge aluminum finished with a 7
stage pretreatment and electrostatically
applied polyester powder coat paint,
providing a long lasting finish.
This combination of premium optical
performance and durable construction
make the MirroStar an intelligent
choice in large area retail and
commercial lighting.

“
MirroStar reflectors provide the
highest quality lighting by
combining the latest technology
in optical design, material and
construction.
Holophane
engineers built MirroStar
reflectors around the lamp to
optimize the performance of the
lamp/reflector system, enabling
the highest percentage of lamp
lumens to be utilized and direct
light for optimal distribution. The
reflector/lamp system provides
many benefits; wide spacing,
good vertical illumination,
superior uniformity and IES full
cutoff.
Life cycle cost of a lighting system
is a very important consideration.
First cost is sometimes weighed
more heavily than the 20-30 year
cost of ownership. Re-lamp costs
and other maintenance issues
should not be overlooked when
choosing a lighting system.
MirroStar helps to reduce
ownership costs. All MirroStar
luminaires are supplied with a
Holophane manufactured ballast.
All electrical components have a
five-year warranty. The ballast
components are mounted to a
detachable tray with tool-less
disconnect to allow quick field
removal and replacement.

with a specular component of at least
92% and a total reflectivity of 95%.
Integrity of the reflective panels is held

All exterior surfaces shall receive a
seven stage cleaning and iron
phosphate pretreatment prior to
painting. The finish shall be a fade
resistant
(color) polyester powder
paint baked on to provide a hard,
durable coating.

One-piece heavy duty, 13 gauge
formed aluminum, held together with
a rigid extruded aluminum riveted
frame. Frame shall be fully lined about
the perimeter with a high
temperature, closed - cell gasket
material to provide an insect and dust
free interior. Door frame shall be
connected to the housing with a
continuous hinge that runs the full
width of the housing and is secured
with five or more screws. Two captive
screws shall be used for closure and
for easy lamp access.
