Education
MSc in Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy Systems/ University of Leeds/ UK
Accredited by IET
Average (76.3 /100) – Distinction
Modules:
-Policy and Economics for Sustainable Energy Sys. (76) - Electric Drives (84) -Pilot Study (74)
-Electric Power G. by Renewable Sources (81)
- Industry Dissertation (76)
-Grid Connected microgeneration system (79)
-Micro-Grid Laboratory (78)
- Control System Design (79)
My Masters Project (74): My project is ‘Grid-Connected Microgrid System: Implementations and
Control to Supply Three Phase Load Using PSCAD’. PV solar array, wind power system along
with a synchronous generator driven by hydro power plant are implemented and combined to the
grid network to supply a three-phase unbalanced load using PSCAD. The results show that a
constant 0.6 kV bus voltage is generated to supply a 100Ω load from the three systems with a
suitable control implementation. Furthermore, the system is successfully combined to the grid with
a standard voltage of 115 kV.

Competencies Behavioural and Skills

Accountability: From my early age, I used to follow all the relevant procedures and policies to ensure perfect
outcome. For instance, I applied to HCED scholarship program in Iraq and successfully got it. I used to be
responsible for my own hence for example I suggested to my British Professor to publish our work in an
International Journal and we got the acceptance.

Administration: I managed a local office in 2012 and successfully dealt with customers, bills, keeping
historical records, financial check, arrange documents, and resolve difficulties.

Client Orientation: I created my shop from 2010, and I was working as a Sales Engineer. Over 4 years from
working in PCs, Mobiles, and IT, I used to communicate effectively with the customers along with mitigating
all the problems with regard to the market changes, customer changes, in an effective manner. I believe the
truth and honesty are always the keys to people’s heart.

Continuous Learning: I always keep myself informative about the international migration policies as I am
currently one of them. Hence, People’s life really matters. For instance, I follow the latest news from the
following human right agencies about the situation in Iraq: IFRC , OHCHR, IOM , and MRN. In addition, I
recently go through the publication ‘Human Rights and Human Trafficking’ from OHCHR.

Creativity and Initiative: As the world keeps continuously developing, I used to follow the latest International
development in Economy, Politics, Sport, and Humans Right Acts. Therefore, I am often looking for develop
my own ideas or resolve a current problem to keep pace with the current world.

Leadership and Negotiation: I am the Admin of many Facebook groups with regard to our Iraqi government
scholarship programme ‘HCED’. Hence, I always use to guide all the Iraqi student to apply for the US and UK
universities and show them how to apply to the VISA. This can be found from my YouTube Channel:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzi8in7d4LVxrdQ2r755HYw/videos

Planning and Organizing: I think that preparing beforehand for everything in this life is a key role to
adequately achieve the required goals. Thus, I used to plan a head, assess the ideas and the projects, identify
the priorities and risks, and then after getting the advice from the senior manager, start achieving the targets.

Internally displaced persons (IDP) help: During my Masters study in the UK, and as I originally from AlAnbar Province, I used to kindly collect money from my colleagues in LEEDS/UK to send them to Iraq in order
to help the IDPs persons who flees from the current conflict. Hence, I along with my friends collected over that
1500$ and sent them here to Baghdad to buy, for instance; milk for the children, blankets, heaters, foodstuffs.
Etc.

Document Preparing and Reporting: As I completed my masters at University of Leeds, I handed over than
40 technical reports and assignments, I got an (A) degree in all of them. I used to communicate and write
academically and professionally along with a success to meet the deadlines under immense pressure.

Cooperation with the Community: I believe the community is the master key to success for every
humanitarian organization, hence, cooperating and respecting the local people as well as the whole
community is essential for me to meet our great targets.

Sales Engineer: PCs, Mobiles, and Satellite Receivers Maintenance
January 2014
Showtime Shop, Al-Anbar – Iraq
I created my own shop to sell and do maintenance for PCs, Mobiles and Satellites receivers.
Hence, I gained vast experience to deal with Windows, Linux, along with iOS, Android, and
Symbian. Furthermore, dealing with customers and satisfy their needs is a pleasure for me.


a fully-funded scholarship to study my masters in the UK as I’m one of the top students in my
undergraduate.
-Technical Report Writing: I got almost an A degree in all the technical report I wrote in my
Masters and undergraduate.
-Team Working: In my master study, I worked with my colleagues to do group projects and group
reports along with the intensive cooperation in the laboratory every week.
- Presentation and client service: I have many videos on my YouTube channel explaining to
the students how they apply and get admitted for MSc, PhD studying in the UK/USA.
