 GEACustomerTraining:
ScrewCompressors,Controls&Communications
GEA training prepares you for the challenges of the future, we offer two types of customer training classes. PublicClasses
These classes are general in nature and are designed to cover a wide range of topics regarding the operation, and maintenance of GEA compressor packages and electronic control panels. Classes are held at the GEA facility in York, Pennsylvania, three times a year as well as approximately 20 regional locations throughout the United States. Topics cover GEA equipment, including screw compressor packages, refrigeration control systems, and communications. This is accomplished through both lectures and hands‐on segments during the classes so attendees will have an opportunity to participate in various activities. The classes provide information regarding theory and operation of the control panels, helical screw compressor and its ancillary systems. These general and preventive maintenance procedures are designed to help prevent compressor failures. All attendees will have opportunities to operate and explore fully functional control panel trainer units. These training classes are designed for: •

The training topics are tailored to the individual needs of your business and are designed to equip your operators with the knowledge they need to achieve a high level of added value. Content of custom classes may be chosen from a combination of standard topics as well as customized content to ensure coverage of the specific equipment in service at the facility. This is accomplished through a combination of lecture and hands‐on segments and may also include plant P&ID and lubrication drawings for on‐site equipment.
